Full Moon Illuminations

Full Moon Eclipse October 2014 by my friend, Lynne Day

“We are powerful beyond measure, and so deeply vulnerable at the same time. This may seem like a dichotomy, but it isn’t. We have misunderstood real power. It has been something assertive, non-surrendering, pushing on through. This is not real power. This is simply willfulness. Real power is something else – – receptivity, openness, the courage to keep your heart open on the darkest of days, the strength to feel it all even when the odds are stacked against you. Real power is showing up with your heart on your sleeve and absolutely refusing to waste one moment of your life hidden behind edginess and armor. The art of enheartened presence. Now that’s power.”

~Quote by Jeff Brown, which to me captures the Full Moon energy now, and beyond.

I woke early again to the dark night sky, but this morning it was illuminated by the beautiful Full Moon. As I connected and tuned in, sending out energy to the collective, Earth, and intents, I felt a glow in my heart expanding and deepening in trust. I looked at the rabbit in the moon, now upside down this morning, thinking of my dear Nestor and Joy (my rabbits in this life).

lady bugLast night before bed I took a walk around the neighborhood by the light of the Moon and the sea cucumbers came to mind again and their message. As I was brushing my teeth upon return I noticed a Ladybug on the ceiling of the bathroom scurrying along.lady bug2

I thought that to be quite a magickal little sign out of nowhere, as I got up on the counter to scoop her up and put her outside in the Moonlight.

If you don’t recall, I posted a couple of photos of sea cucumbers yesterday that I saw on Sunday, with a brief caption mentioning the uncanny connection I made to the sea cucumbers I’d seen last year at the same time.

It felt significant to make mention of again, so I’ll go with my intuition on that to do so.

If you didn’t see yesterday’s post, or didn’t read the captions on the photos, what I’m drawing attention to is the discovery I made about the appearance of these sea cucumbers and their timing. I go to my favorite beach very often, each week in fact, and I’m quite observant to anything that uniquely appears or isn’t around that normally is.

This last weekend I came upon two pink and orange sea cucumbers after walking the full length of the beach up and down. I was excited to see them, as I have only once before come upon them, which was last year. That time I’d seen 100’s of them. Sad to now only see two, perhaps reflecting Earth changes, tidal patterns, the result of harmful effects, or a personal message, but I was also grateful to see them, as they are so enchanted and sparkly like stars.

Yesterday, as I searched for my post of last year I stumbled upon the date and title: Reflections on the Current Intensities & Today’s Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries October 18th, 2013

blood moon by lynne day

Full Blood Moon from last night/early morning taken by my friend Lynne Day at the Total Eclipse

It was almost exactly one year ago (by 13 days) that they’d appeared, but also between last night and this morning, we revisited a Full Moon Total Eclipse in Aries again, along with a Blood Moon. There is an obvious connection with these particular sea cucumbers and this Moon phase, and it was drawing my attention to re-read their symbolism and the insights I had shared last year. It felt significant.

And this is what I reflected on last night while I took my Full Moon walk.

This morning as I gazed at the Moon, I was reminded.

But as I read last year’s post, there was also another uncanny connection, which I’m only now making this morning.

Last year, also at the same Full Moon Eclipse time, my rabbit Joy had been deeply affected. She had gone into a very deep, reflective, and inner mode, not moving for most of the day and not wanting to open her eyes. I remember being worried about her, but also realizing her sensitivities to energy and connection with the Moon cycles. She pulled out of it slowly by night and by morning after, she was back to herself.

Well, not only did the sea cucumbers return this year around the same Moon cycle, but Joy also went through a very powerful, energetic scare Monday afternoon, right before the Full Moon, but still in connection with the intense energies that are being felt around this time period that lead up and continue after. She was hit really hard by frequencies she was picking up that were foreign to her and causing her great confusion, panic, and painful discomfort. So much so that she backed herself into the fireplace to hide and wait it out for a good portion of the day. I moved into the living room to work so I could be with her and I’m happy to say she also pulled out of it by evening and the next day, yesterday, was back to herself again.

There is definitely something about the energy of this Moon cycle and a connection to be made. Couple that with all of the other influences abound: Astroflash Monthly Horoscope for October 2014 and you have quite the intensity.

I’ll keep open to insights, but there feels to be a cosmic opening and ancient rebalancing in order.

But to keep things a bit more manageable, you can read my last year’s post about the sea cucumbers, Joy, and the insights on Libra/Aries energy that this Full Moon brings to a head for us in the day-to-day, at the link above.

If you don’t make it there, these are the parts that stood out from it to repost today:

Sea Cucumbers symbolize heightened communication, emphasizing hormone levels along with unconscious signals and nerves. Sea Cucumber demonstrates an attention to emotions. Ability to change from rigid to soft by utilizing emotional balance. She shows how to remain firm in tight or delicate situations. Great movement with minimum amount of energy. Watch for potential symbiotic relationships to form. Do you withdraw and retract yourself when you feel threatened? She will teach you when to guard your emotional self. Is it time to create a tough exterior? She will show how to build up your defenses, spiritually, physically and emotionally.

And the sea cucumbers we saw were all hardened, since they were out of the water and in “delicate situations” of being out of their safe and comforting natural surroundings. They seemed to be mirroring that call to tend to our deepest emotions and to understand their resiliency and capability to adapt and shift, when we allow them to flow naturally and maintain that balance. We’ve heard the message before that it’s crucial to get very intimate right now with vulnerability and yet understand how to shift and adjust our boundaries, knowing we have the ability support ourselves when need be.

Needless to say, all of this relates to the energy of this Full Moon – a culmination period that promises fullfillment of what was intended and begun at the New Moon. It is also a heightened time of emotions and this particular one also happens to be a Lunar Eclipse, which places an added potency. And since we have the Libra Sun in opposition to the Aries Moon, we are being asked to look at how we balance these polarities of “self” and “others” – our needs and their needs.

Libra asks us to look at “relationships” and that includes the one we have with ourselves, while being present with the authenticity of who we individually are. This is a challenging one, as Aries likes to self assert and Libra is the expert in compromising. And neither are to be neglected, so this Full Moon initiates invitation to exercise the practice of emotional balance that honors both responsibly.  This will take some time, but right now there is likely a lot of personal build-up that is either getting ready to burst, or is in process of releasing already, as you do need to express what you’ve been holding in and on to.

The beauty is that the more we practice allowing expression, the more we find it can be a graceful dance between autonomy and sharing. At first it may not yet be rational, so taking extra care at this time so nothing super explosive happens, may be wise. Everyone is going through their own form of crisis or transformative shifts, so realize that what others say and do is coming from the same place of needing to express a lot of old stuff that has nothing to do with you and yet in every way has the ability to provide you with everything you can utilize for self-growth and supporting growth in others.

Like the sea cucumbers, there are a lot of emotions and unspoken needs that are coming to light right now and that can create that fine line between hardening ourselves permanently for fear of what others might think or in reaction to how they react, or seeing ourselves in the other and challenging that extra depth of courage and compassion, knowing they are just as frightened as you.

This is that place between Aries and Libra that you can ignite.

Things may be challenging, some things may fall apart, but this temporary chaos is the onset of lighter experiences ahead.

If you’re feeling that deep sense of needing to break free, then this is time to open yourself fully to ALL possibilities for how that can come about without attaching to a particular outcome.

Eclipses are extremely potent and they can help support the perfect life-crisis needed and in line with your path of choice, to help you to make the changes you deeply want. So in this way, it’s not to fear the Eclipse, nor to fear change, but to realize the silver lining and positive energy that can be harnessed by something that is created in line with and for your highest good.

The “lunation” illuminates things in a way that can seem sudden, but in fact have been ongoing in a repressed way. So when hit with that seeming “out-of-the-blue” crisis, the reality is we are the ones precipitating the change because our Higher Self knows we need it and will only stand by for so long. Deep down, we know that change is necessary for growth.

Lunar Eclipses are more relationship-oriented and that includes with others, with ourselves, and as well with our work, health, bodies, etc. Their effects can also last longer – some astrologers feel Lunar Eclipse effects can last 3 – 6 months. However that is, there is the potential now that you may have been, or are experiencing a sudden state of heightened awareness surrounding everything in your life that is calling to your attention a lot of the flaws and things you are not happy with. But because of the heightened emotions, decisions are best to be made with presence and reflection.

Breaking free is something we all would like, and yet we can do it in a balanced way so as not to create temporary relief or new challenges.

How To Make Stress Your Friend

Last night we were listening to some TedTalks on the way home and this one stood out as one to share, as it not only is a topic that affects so many people, but it also points to two of the things I wrote about on the subject of stress that are now backed by studies.

Don’t you just love how science catches up with spirituality more and more? 😉

Kelly McGonigal is a health psychologist who shifted her own perspective of how she was treating her patients and how she herself was viewing stress, when she discovered that what she was teaching over the last 10 years was doing more harm than good, which basically was “turning stress into the enemy”. After researching the studies, she rethought her whole approach, as the studies proved that a person’s belief about stress was the culprit to decreased health and even mortality, rather than stress itself.

Kelly now urges people to see stress as positive and to realize that it also makes you social.

These are my favorite statements she shares:

“How you think and act can transform your experience of stress. When you choose to view your stress response as helpful, you create the biology of courage. When you choose to connect with others under stress you can create resilience.

Now I wouldn’t necessarily ask for more stress in my life, but you can see it as another access to your compassionate heart and to your pounding physical heart to give you strength and energy. You can trust yourself to handle life’s challenges and remember you don’t have to face them alone.”

No matter what it is, whether stress, how you feel about yourself, or any part of your life, beliefs will play an important role in repatterning. It’s not the only piece to the puzzle, but shifting perspectives is a huge key to revealing more ease, more answers, and providing more empowerment instantly.

Of course there are other parts to this that play a role and different ways to help yourself process the stress, including the importance of balance, not purposely taking on a crazy amount of things thinking that you’re invincible, nor taking on things out of unhealthy reasons like guilt, victimization, self-sacrifice, self-sabotage, or martyrdom, for instance.

Yet what Kelly shares can begin a new inner dialogue of holistic support that will help to promote reduction in unhealthy stress perceptions that will lead you to healthier perceptions and increased connection, which ultimately puts you on the track to overall well-being.

When you become aware of something, you take back your power to be the “whole” person that you are and realize the perfection inherent in the bigger picture.

Here are pieces of my own insights on the perception of stress working “for” me and the importance of it leading me to connect with others in my post, Stress, Overwhelment, Anxiety…Spirituality Isn’t An Immunity Pass, But Does Seed You With The Alchemy Of Awareness To Shift It, which echo Kelly’s thoughts from the studies:

Remember, life challenges are the ones we choose and are there to support the transformational evolvement that we knew would assist us in being that which we are and always were behind the illusions and fluff. Varying degrees of stress are not bad, but our perspective and approach can shift them into being the natural parts of human experience that they are.

You are a luminous being seeking to know and express yourself and sometimes the rate of expansion you go through can be overwhelming at times. The key is to make a conscious choice to perceive the reality before you as a perfect set of divine experiences working FOR your highest good, not AGAINST it….

In my own journey of learning how to move through stress, I also learned it was helpful for me to have a heart-to-heart with those near and dear to me to share with them what my protocol is when I get stressed and that it isn’t personal. I also shared with them the things that I feel and how that makes me act, as well as shared the things in that moment that would be helpful for me and asked if they were willing to assist me with the process. Things like not reacting to the momentary stress I am blowing out of proportion, just listening to me, helping me to stop and encourage taking a different approach, etc. That coupled with the things I was putting into practice, all would help me to be able to shift my process and speed up the time in which I could do it.

While it is up to us to make the changes, we aren’t islands unto ourselves. Remember that your stress is also felt and experienced by everyone around you and there’s no reason you can’t ask help from your loved ones for some of the supportive ingredients that can assist you. Chances are, they would love to help out, as they don’t want to see you stressed and they don’t want to react in ways that they feel bad about, or that add to your stress. And when you engage them in your process, they will also learn more about their own, feel more open to sharing things they go through and how you might support them, and in totality a closer connection and depth to your relationship is created.

Reflections on the Current Intensities & Today’s Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries October 18th, 2013

sea-anemoneYesterday seemed to be a very intense day energetically for a lot of people I know closely and remotely, including my sweet little Joy (my rabbit companion). In general, yes, it has been a consistent flow of challenging shifts that people are facing and moving through, but there are a lot of influences that increase these experiences at given times, along with the fact that with great change, so many are in process of making, can come interim chaos.

We all move through things differently and each have our own soul reasons for this, so while some people may not be experiencing things the way you are, don’t use that as a means to further judge yourself and your personal process in a way that will only hurt you and keep you in the old patterns you are trying to break free from. We all have different trajectories and at some point or another will go through the same kind of challenges in our own way. So, while someone may be flowing easily now, while you are feeling the dense intensity, remember that they are not immune to such things, but perhaps on their own individual timeline, have gone through major intensities and just learned to maneuver through the process now because of that and have harnessed the energies in ways they once didn’t know how to.

This is available to each of us, and I can personally say, that while you may not hear me sharing about experiencing the intensities right now myself, I can assure you that my life has not been so flowing in the past – at all. I am grateful for every hardship and challenge, as they have been such gifts in teaching me the lessons that are assisting my current experiences, to which I have chosen to responsibly commit to partnering with. And while I may not currently be experiencing the intensity in the way I am hearing from others, I am very much aware of and can feel the intensity, collectively, and seeing it all around in the experiences I move in and out of. I know that part of that reason is to be of assistance now to others, as others have once been for me.

And for me, I have created new doorways of experience that are asking of me another depth of courage and vulnerability with a different set of expansive potentials that I have to continue to consciously maneuver in with the tools I have gained. Always keeping a few steps ahead of myself, as I have chosen a path of service.

wavesAll this being said, there is a heightened feeling of pressure that is giving you no way out from anything. You can no longer not be responsible, not do the work, not walk the walk, not let go and reboot, not learn to create balance, and not be nakedly honest with yourself. If you refuse this, the intensities will increase. And if you step back and really integrate this stuff, you will be able to move with the energies, rather than buck them, consciously or unconsciously.

If you missed my reblog this morning, Tom Lescher perfectly pinpoints what I’m sharing in his recent Astrology forecast post: Astrology Forecast, October 16th, 2013

Yes, it’s a time for action, yet to practice it mindfully and heartfully. The randomness many may choose to describe things as, I choose to describe as “deliberate” randomness and that implies consciousness. We have continued to hit new thresholds as we journey through the doorways of experience and this latest one will involve a lot of letting go while you step up with all of your passionate parts in focus and heart. And that will definitely mean, not only letting go of parts of yourself you are no longer identifying with, but other people too and experiences. We are all creating our own realities and so while others won’t be able to join us in ours, we also won’t be in theirs either. We can be aware of each other, compassionately feel for each other, and we can dip in and out, but we are in process of firmly building new, creative foundations that take committed and ultra courageous feet to tread upon them.

No, you can’t fluffily fly through the door. You’re gonna have to learn to walk on water for this part.

It’s definitely a time where life-changing things are being revealed to each of us that are completely going to alter the whole course of our lives. I am experiencing this in my own way, as I described in my post: Some Personal Reflections on Expanding Realities

And it’s also a time to really step back and not make rash decisions about anything, especially with the current Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries that can tug at your reactive self-expression. While greater self-expression and a whole new kind of freedom IS a-knocking, we also have to learn to balance that in a way that both honors our truth we are needing to speak, as well as remembers that others are also eligible for the same Universal Law of Free Will to do the same.

Back to the intensities people were feeling yesterday…as I mentioned even my dear little Joy was deeply affected by the energy, but moreso in her dear way that she so cares for the collective Earth and takes on a lot of what is going on around. I found her yesterday morning in a very, very deep reflective place, so much so that she was literally out of it and couldn’t open her eyes more than half way, for the whole morning. I also found her laying right by one of the large crystals she loves, where it seems she was all night and then stayed there for practically the whole first half of the day, either passed out in deep sleep or in a meditative ball. I was concerned, as I know she can easily become ill if emotionally/energetically out of balance, so kept a strong vigil on her along with providing her some balancing Reiki and gave her supportive words and extra love.

I also reminded her that she is always my “Joy” even when she needs her times like these and there is nothing she needs to live up to by that name, nor feel she is letting me down. I supported her to do what she needed to, while letting her know she is always my precious and beloved. I did say however, although I know you are so beautifully sensitive and compassionate to the world, you too need to learn to let go so and not to hold tight in your heart and body, all that you are processing/feeling. You are supported in allowing this energy to flow through you and you don’t have to hold it for anyone else either.

JoyAnd I am happy to report that miss Joy (aka Tiny and Jules) was feeling light again last night and this morning is back to her bouncy self and relaxing in the lightness she is feeling from what she released (photo of her this morning after her romping around, stretched out with her Agate Turtle friend). She was waiting for me at the door to my office and I can tell that she and I have increased the depth of our bond moreso through this. She is appreciative of my unconditional love and support and I’m proud of her and grateful for our closeness.

Yesterday, I also had an out-call Reiki session with one of my new clients of addiction support work I’m partnering on, that was feeling the intensities of the energy as well – so much so that it came through in his relating to the Reiki, and if not for my capacity to compassionately understand, would have been taken personally. For reasons of confidentiality, I cannot go into it, but I knew why it is I have been in the space I have of expanding into a much larger scope of unconditional love and compassion, as the places I am being called with my service now are not places I would have in the past been equipped for and able to go. I am seeing that the more I expand into that experience of experiencing as Source, the more I am able to walk in the shadows and dark with the work that I do, and explains why I’m drawing in a new wave of experiences. I find it to be so valuable and enriching.

With the Libra/Aries balancing of energies this Full Moon, one of the things is to remember to keep present with yourself and everyone else around you, so that you can stay out of unnecessary conflicts that are spawned by the ego taking things personally. The fact is, the issue at hand is not about you. Just as what I was able to hold the space for yesterday, was not about me, but an opportunity for me to demonstrate in action, as well as reflect, what I have learned and be that wholeness of love for my client, without attachment to what that looks like, but simply because I’m there for a purpose and by golly, I was going to fulfill it to the fullest, while allowing them to choose where they’d like to go with that.

And like Joy demonstrated, I know many of you are also highly empathic (I join you all there too) and emotions can feel really big, overwhelming, and perhaps even all-consuming and pressing at this time. Not only are we sensing everything going on around us at all-time high levels, but our unconscious emotions are having a free-for-all with wanting our attention so they can release from the bondage they’ve been in and start revealing their gifts to us that we were afraid to see all of this time.

pink-sea-cucumberInterestingly, in the afternoon yesterday I also had my weekly beach walk with my sweet friend (it’s our magickal time to walk the water’s edge while in conscious conversations and joy of what’s around us) and there was a strangely beautiful stillness in the air that mirrored the feelings abound. The air was like “The Nothing” in A NeverEnding Story, the sun was quite hot with temperature in the upper 80’s, there were no waves – just calm waters and ripples, the tide was out far, and all along the water’s edge were 100’s of what appeared to be some form of beautiful golden orange (the color of the 2nd/Sacral Chakra and our emotions/feelings expression) and icy pink (associated with the Heart Chakra energy, alongside green, of compassion and love) sea cucumbers all washed up on shore – interesting and synchronous ONLY these two colors of sea cucumbers. I’d never seen them before in all the times I walk and visit my favorite beach. I knew there was meaning, as this is not where the sea cucumbers should be, and they even started showing up at a particular point in discussion about feelings and opening the heart deeper that was taking place.

pink-sea-cucumber2Of course I delved into researching about the symbolism of sea cucumbers and found this:

Heightened communication, emphasizing hormone levels along with unconscious signals and nerves.

Seeing so many washed up, spoke collectively to me.

Anyway, I mentioned later to my friend, when at first we were unsure what they were, that I’d like to think of them for now as little luminous love beings from the cosmic waters of experience, as they were so beautifully translucent and almost crystalline in the sun. 🙂

natural-tree-art-in-the-sanWhile on our beach walk, my attention was also drawn to this beautiful display of natural art that the ocean and sand hand created. It revealed a gorgeous sand painting of trees that couldn’t have been more beautifully drawn if done by a seasoned artist. Nature is such a natural with creative energy and artistic magick. Seeing these tree sand paintings reminded me that the old roots of our experience are being cleansed and integrated back from where they came, while we are in process of transforming those roots into new ones, from a different part of the same Source.

It is always good to remember that all things change and while our roots can be firmly grounded even in the new, that that new form will ever evolve so once we’ve learned to let go of one thing, we need to not become complacent with the next. Experience is ever-evolving. The core is simply love for All and All for One.

* A side note, the trees also reminded me of a channeled message I received last year at a pivotal time, which was:

“A Kingdom lies beyond the trees….go to it.” – this speaks volumes to me and felt important to share right now.

Needless to say, all of this relates to the energy of this evening’s Full Moon – a culmination period that promises fullfillment of what was intended and begun at the New Moon.

Take the initiative to support this process and you will both reap the benefits.

Like those plentiful sea cucumbers, there are a lot of emotions and unspoken needs that are coming to light right now and that can create that fine line between hardening ourselves permanently for fear of what others might think or in reaction to how they react, or seeing ourselves in the other and challenging that extra depth of courage and compassion, knowing they are just as frightened as you.

This is that place between Aries and Libra that you can ignite.

Things may go through challenges, some things may fall apart, but this temporary chaos is the onset of lighter experiences ahead.

It may not seem that way when you are out of touch with how consciousness works integrally in your life, but the reality is we can have the change come in a different way, if we decide to take active responsibility in our lives.

Since Mercury is also currently in Scorpio, communication can be intense right now and seem invasive. Motivational factors are being analyzed and so its good to keep an eye on not getting too obsessive over dissection or creating over-dramatized experiences. With Mars in Virgo, that can add to the obsessive over-work we can invest, so the way to utilize that energy efficiently is to get the job done in terms of taking action on your dreams and doing what it takes to walk the walk and manifest what you’re intellectualizing.

Again, please remember not to judge your process or the process of another. If you want to support yourself and others most, it isn’t effective to keep allowing finger-pointing, denigration, and new forms of “witch hunting” to take place. You really are being asked to search your heart deeper by the day, and have the courage to stand up for its truth.

Loving the you you are right now.

Stress, Overwhelment, Anxiety…Spirituality Isn’t An Immunity Pass, But Does Seed You With The Alchemy Of Awareness To Shift It

taniameditating

Me In Peru at the Dimensional Gateway – Amaru Muru

A couple of days ago on Facebook I shared a post about “overwhelment” and the personal messages that later came in to me, said to me that this is a topic that really hit home for people. So I decided to repost it here and to expound upon it to support everyone that is currently experiencing this or has felt it at some point, as I know we all have. 😉

To begin with, I am actually quite well-versed in stress. Stress, nervous anxiety, overwhelment, feelings of pressure….all of that was my expertise not only in experiencing, but in being quite well-adapted in repressing it so that no one knew. That can actually be even worse, as you don’t get it out like others do and it can reek havoc on your health and well-being, little by little internally attacking yourself to a slow, soul death, not to mention can be trickier to unlearn.

But unlearn I have, which is a process of identifying the root of all of these self-created ways I was choosing to be, learning what my triggers were, understanding why I was allowing myself to get emotionally worked up and what I thought I was appeasing or making up for with all the crazed drive, realizing what I was missing and not allowing in my life, and coming to realize who I was naturally and what things would help me return there.

I had to understand my processes, as well as the ingenious self-sabotaging ones. And once I could see it all and responsibly claim it, it was then a day-by-day, moment-to-moment practice of gently reprogramming the conditional me back into reboot of the real me.

When you start integrating a spiritual approach to living, this doesn’t automatically make you immune to stress. Stress isn’t isolated to nonspiritual people, as many people who are spiritually focused stress over all the things they think they still “have” to do or “need” to learn and accomplish, stress over being perfect or expert about something, still stress over performance, stress about keeping up appearances to match the spiritual lifestyle they appear to be living, and even stress over comparing themselves to others….

If you haven’t uncovered your patterns and processes, as well as core motivating factors behind the stress, then you are likely to repeat creating stressful experiences, but they will just appear in the guise of different clothing. I know many people, including myself, that can and have worked on overdrive even when being of service.

The reason for this, is not fully understanding what it means to be of true service, which is walking an authentic and fully integrated life of balance within divine flow so that you have the ability to give from your own well. Teaching love, compassion, and balance must start within you. Knowing how to always get back to your center is something we have to reteach ourselves, but it isn’t unnatural to us, contrary to the limited times you may feel it in your busy life.

I saw this in my own process in the beginning, where I was living a spiritual life for the most part, but there were core patterns that were still operating out of the old, which would manifest as doing things the same “old” way, but just substituting in a new life. I had woven in an overlap of the old foundation into the new ways and the two don’t work together – at least not in the flowing, freeing, balancing way we desire. There must be consistency, which means fully releasing the old and firmly rooting the new.

That being said, when you do choose to practice spiritually conscious awareness, you can learn to shorten the time gaps in which you experience the “seeming” pressures, anxiety, and tension. So it’s not that stress never creeps up again for you, but you become well-versed and well-equipped to know how to allow and move the energy through naturally, so you can regain your sense of centered balance and empowerment rather quickly. In this way, learning to emulate nature and how things just cycle through.

Once you tune in to you and begin to understand your personal patterns and triggers, you become aware of the processes to rebalance yourself and can sometimes instantly shift the experience, or at least decrease the length of time you are out of flow.

The key is to put to practice, repetitively and consistently, habitual expression of your awareness every day and commit to the process of responsibly regaining your center through implementing the tools that you know work for you. Then remember to be gentle and nonjudgmental with yourself as you allow your soul to guide you into experiences that are in alignment with your individual growth needs.

The key is to make a conscious choice to perceive the reality before you as a perfect set of divine experiences working FOR your highest good, not AGAINST it. Take a deep breath and remember how you moved through these challenges before and put to practice the things that have worked and the things you have learned. We learn to grow through it and find that our heart light shines brighter because of it all.

And if you haven’t yet discovered what works for you, start implementing things to find your golden ticket to freedom.

I do realize that stress causes confusion and emotional turbulence, so when you are in the heat of a stress attack, it is challenging to even see your way out of it clearly, let alone think rationally. So this is why taking a step back and perhaps even enlisting the help of a trusted expert to help, can allow you to start seeing with different eyes the way you currently approach things vs. the way you could be approaching them.

Some other things people find helpful when feeling stressed are: meditation, breathing exercises, talking it out, chanting mantras, creating your own personal mantras, listening to calming music, singing, physical exercise, being out in nature, doing something that you love, yoga, aromatherapy, Reiki, being still and quiet, time alone in your sacred space, working with crystals, spending time with your animal companions, creative expression, writing….whatever it is, remember that these are tools to remind you of the space you can enter into by “will”, even without these things, but they will be supportive ways to help remind you that nothing you feel is out of your control.

And one day, you will find that you don’t “need” any of these things anymore, although may now find them to be a natural part of your preferred way of life, and that you can become your own alchemy for centering yourself.

And then, life becomes a walking meditation in and of itself.

Feelings of overwhelment are not actually natural. They are created by unrealistic and unauthentic ideas, as well as self-imposed pressures that do not take into account the natural flow of energy. It is instead a need or way of controlling energy rather than listening to it, feeling it, and riding the wave of it. Unrealistic pressures merely create stress and anxiety, which produces unhealthiness.

What is it that makes you feel the need to rush anything or unduly impose such limiting and unnatural parameters on yourself?

When you stop trying to “make” things happen, you can actually “relax” into what is for your highest good and the highest good of all others, which will reveal itself in supportive guideposts along the way. Doing things faster or harder isn’t going to make the results any better and you just might bypass an opportunity, as well as risk your well being along the way.

It just isn’t worth it to force anything. Try committing to feeling, rather than thinking your way through life. Then use your mind to make wise discernment rather than make unwise demands.

It is possible to become more balanced and when you do, your life shifts exponentially and actually becomes more magickal.

I’m not just someone writing or talking about what can be achieved, without having lived it. My life has transformed into a reflection of the me I always knew myself to be, but had accepted a different alternative version of, which left little joy, but a lot of frustration.

Now, if I experience a moment of stress, I instantly or within minutes can shift it and redirect so that the real source of energy behind it is able to flow and I can then be with the clarity of listening to what is true to my heart.

What is available to one is available to us all. You too, have the ability to find the key to your balance and heart center, and to realize that nothing in life is as serious as you think. When you take care of you, you not only are an example of your life working for others to emulate in their own way, but you will also be universally supported because of that recognition you have come to own.

The Cosmic Dance of Balance – Eckhart Tolle on Living with Meaning in the Digital Age

full moon in virgo 2013After a beautiful full moon last night, I am settling in to another miracle of a day today. Although it is my 40th birthday today, to me it is simply and exquisitely another magickal day in the Earth neighborhood.

The photo pictured here is what I captured last night at 7pm and when I saw it I was reminded of one of the messages from my post yesterday – Finding Your Peace: Full Moon in Virgo & Mercury Retrograde in Pisces 2013 from Cathy Pagano that it seemed to reflect beautifully:

“Full Moons are the part of the cosmic dance when things become clear—or they turn into drama, another form of definition created by unconscious acting-out.

The truth is Full Moons can indicate the dance of true partnership, where each side is seen and valued. But you have to let yourself be seen; you have to take on the Sun’s light and let the Moon speak to you of what it wants to create. Then your purpose becomes manifesting the vision.

So take hold of your courage and dance the dance this Virgo Full Moon. Because we are being called to birth the brightest truths of our spiritual essence.”

And a cosmic dance is what I put conscious effort towards embracing each day, even if in my own little world I’ve created. 🙂

I have actually never really deliberately celebrated my birthday in any huge way that maybe others might, that I can remember. I’ve done some things that I loved, but hadn’t ever been drawn to large gatherings. I’m not sure why other than having felt drawn to more subdued celebrations that resonate at heart, and the same holds true for this year.

I find that the more you live each day fully as the miracle and joy it is with all of your heart – dance the cosmic dance that is –  the more it demonstrates how every day is a celebration. Every day is fun and fulfilling because of integrating more of that core passion and authenticity with collective service and connection.

You’ll find yourself enlivened by regularly seeking quiet places and time where you can go within and be with yourself, free to “be” with your connection to the miracle of creation in and around you.

And as Cathy shared, that dance of true and balanced partnership you courageously embrace, will lead you to the core of your spiritual essence.

Having received some “balanced” gifts for my birthday including things at opposite spectrums like a new large computer screen and speakers, as well as flowers, crystal pendant, scented candles, an inner reflection calendar of gorgeous images and quotes, a peace cap…this reiterated the message from an Eckhart Tolle video we listened to and watched on the long drive home from Utah, which focused on daily and minute-to-minute balance that creates a deeper sense of connection and peace amidst all of the stimulation.

In the solitude of my inner silence I have found the paradise of unending Joy. ~ Paramahansa Yogananda

More and more I find myself spending large amounts of time in nature (whether hiking, walking on the beach, or taking trips that immerse myself in the outdoors), in quiet reflection away from external stimuli, focusing on the crystals I have on my desk, snuggling and playing with my little animal companions, and doing calming things I find fun in between my work in order to recharge, stay present and connected, and create peaceful harmony within.

The intensity of my work, although creative and healing in service, can be amplifying, not to mention the amount of time I also have to spend at the computer can be challenging, and so time to just “be” in natural ways is valuable and necessary – whether that’s literally in nature, with things of nature, or being at home with what flows through me naturally.

Just a year ago, Eckhart Tolle shared some good insights on the importance of balance to avoid potential dangers of technological advances, while chatting with Bradley Horowitz of Google. The subject of his talk is: “Living with Meaning, Purpose and Wisdom in the Digital Age.”

He also touches on other valuable insights, but there are some good key points in his message to gain greater sense of clarity, peace, and joy of being alive in terms of this theme of creating balance in a world of expanding technology and being one with that cosmic dance within. I hope you find value in his message:
