Living here is such an incredible reminder of what is possible in terms of creating and manifesting reflections of my heart’s desires and having the peace I feel within, mirrored to me. When I first saw this house, despite knowing we would be doing a complete internal demolish and remodel, I knew the footprint, its energy, the layout, and the essence of the land here was meant for us. I always felt the end result and not the process and the Faeries kept reiterating this to me with signs, messages, and to continue to trust even when challenges arose. They told me to be patient and they would handle the details, which they did and have.
Although we’re still in remodeling mode, the major work is starting to wind down and we’re beginning to see the fruits of our labor come together.
This includes the magick of the forest land we sit on and our expansive forest backyard.
Yesterday our contractors left early so we had opportunity just before sunset to do a short hike out back. All of the photos you see here are of this trail we took from our home.
We have a whole grid work of hiking/biking trails right off our deck and yesterday we discovered a new one, which was this big loop that takes us through the forest, across a creek, along it, then through meadows, and back into the woods and along a second creek that then returns us home.
It was gorgeous and the light of the day had an aura of golden glow that just lit everything up with enchantment.
Soon this whole area will be covered in thick blankets of snow and we’ll be able to wander to our heart’s content on snow shoes. Dave intends to try out cross country skiing too, which will be perfect here as well.
To have this as our backyard is just incredible. I would say “pinch me,” but I know I’m not dreaming.
It’s taken me nearly 45 years of my life to get here, but it’s been worth the work and wait. Couldn’t have happened at a better time and goes again to show you that all things have their divine alignments, as now is when this all means the most to me and supports the next phase of life I’m entering.
We officially moved into our new home this past Saturday 11/25 and what a wild ride that all was. I always marvel at how we manage to get things done and in general, what is possible when you set your mind and heart to it. Our first full day we enjoyed rain, cleaning the slate so to speak, and this morning (our second day and start to a new week) we were greeted by a white Winter wonderland that the snow Faeries gifted us as welcome.
I’m a Winter Faery myself, being born in the month of February, so I love the white purity of rebirthing energy blanketing our enchanted forest backyard to mirror this huge shift and transformation underway.
It was also synchronous and felt aligned with a house blessing we did last evening and a big Reiki Healing Attunement done by one single, tall, white candle I held for the ceremony.
I won’t bore you with all the details we’ve been managing here and what yet has to be done, but let’s just say it is, and has been, one huge process that keeps spiraling around to reveal new layers of the bigger picture.
We started off living in just one section of the upstairs and soon will be able to take over the whole upstairs. Layer by layer we move forward.
All of our fur babies are doing great. They have actually gotten even more loving since here and enjoying exploring and looking out into the forest at all of the little animals. I’m excited most for Astrid because of the flooring choice we made (porcelain tile that looks like wood with texture) that is so perfect not only for all of our animals and life use durability in all ways, but allows her to be able to run confidently throughout the house without sliding like wood floors or other smooth surfaces might. Plus it’s completely waterproof! I’ve so enjoyed seeing her exploring all over without worry of not feeling stable. Yay!
The fun parts are starting to weave in more now, which involve making creative decorating decisions with some furniture ordering we’ve kicked into gear. I’m so excited for the full tapestry of what we’ve been weaving to come together. It’s completely all new and different in style than anything we’ve had so far…and rightfully should be since we are different and this is a new beginning and path in every and all ways for us.
I also really love organizing and thoroughly enjoy the sifting through of things, purging, finding the perfect space, and getting things in order. Must be my Capricorn energies and Saturn placement. That will continue as we receive our stuff from storage we had tucked away while in the Magick Bus. Although we didn’t store furniture except for 2 or 3 pieces, there’ll be things to go through and discover again like opening Christmas gifts.
We have A LOT still to do here, but it’s incredible how much we’ve accomplished in a short time…things most people said were impossible here in Tahoe due to contractors both being booked out for months and having a very laid back approach to work. That’s not to say we haven’t had our share of challenges, but we’d always find a way and there’d always be a reason that worked out better.
Delays help alignment sometimes.
Anyway, this is just a little update of where things are with us and my first blog from our Forest Portal, which we loving refer to our headquarters here as.
This weekend was definitely bitter sweet to say goodbye to our Treehouse in the sky overlooking the expanse of Lake Tahoe. We will definitely miss those spectacular views, but at least our condo will always be our little gem even though we’ve outgrown it. We lovingly hand it over to our new tenants on 12/1, whom we really love and know will take great care of our baby for us.
Although we’ll miss our Treehouse, we find it easy to move on and like with everything in our lives these days, the transitions are much more fluid and emotionally gentle and graceful. That I’m grateful for – having moved into a flowing process of ease.
So much has taken place from our Treehouse headquarters over the last year… so much more than I’m able to share here, but literally it’s been like moving mountains. It’s so incredible what the energy of that space supported, inspired, revealed, and ignited into motion and manifestation.
There’s still this amazing sense of flying, like all the birds we’ve engaged with from the vantage point it offered, even though we’re anchoring in more now.
We’ve moved from 7500 to 6600 elevation – still the same numerological vibration, just 900 feet and 5 minute winding drive directly down from the Treehouse. We’ll still sit above the lake, but are now within walking distance from it, have hiking and mountain bike trails directly out back, can snowshoe off our deck, not to mention are only 3 to 5 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment. We also only have one human neighbor directly next to us, but with lots of space between, who isn’t full time – it’s their vacation home – and tons of animal neighbors. We’ve met 4 of our neighbors (3 others across the street) already and everyone seems very nice.
We now have a forest view, views of Heavenly Ski Mountain (especially clear from my office), tiny peeks of the Lake as enchanted little gems shining through the trees, and a fenced yard touching the forest where we’ll be creating a secret garden sanctuary over time.
So, now we find ourselves living on the enchanted forest and although it is more grounded and Earthy in nature (perfect for my Capricorn North Node), it feels very light, rich, and creatively abundant here. It’s very expansive in its own way, and of course quite nurturing and nourishing. The smells, feels, textures, and energies are prolific.
It was fun early this morning to wake up to snow and go out on our deck in my jammies taking in the smells and silence, yet listening to the whispers of my Otherworld family here, while watching squirrels still preparing for Winter before the rest of the humans woke up. I sense some Cosmic encounters upcoming.
Looking forward to the magickal adventures ahead, as I root deeper with this land and all of the surprises that await.
Since the Solar Eclipse’s reset, there’s been a rush of very different energy pouring in – for some intensely forcing changes and for others like a welcome jet propulsion into the new. Everything seems to continue to be a step-by-step process of taking it all slowly without rush and truly anchoring in each step with depth of intention and understanding. With tomorrow’s Full Moon in Pisces (my native sun sign), intuition will be on an all-time high, so listening to it and trusting it will be key to support moving into your true power. This moon will help you to gain deeper insights and understanding about the seeds you’ve been planting in your garden, the intentions you have for them, and will illuminate what truly is guiding your life so that you have a broader grasp on the creative forces at work and how to harness them.
Boundaries again are a constant theme in order to create well being and is a lesson for the boundless Pisces energy to understand how to balance in a healthy way.
This is a powerful time for deep soul level closure, to exercise greater compassion rather than judgment, and to practice radical acceptance, which helps you to release suffering. Suffering is a refusal to accept things. It’s time to give up the suffering, do an energy cleanse, and ask how you can make the changes then engage action to do them.
Synchronously we were at a free Celtic rock concert for the Young Dubliners on Saturday where I danced the hardest I have since my twenties. When I say danced hard, I mean hard…I was doing my own version of the Riverdance and literally was jumping, hopping, kicking, jiggling, and wiggling nonstop through about 6 songs with sweat pouring, heart racing, and just powering through despite feeling as if I might not catch my breath, but did, then was in the dancer’s-high zone. My friend who joined me said she heard me giggling and cackling throughout like never before, which made her see my inner Faery come through. That Irish music definitely released a DNA chord within. I literally shook free and coughed out all the old on the drive home after! Talk about an energy cleanse! And feet were recalibrating two days after.
Well, this Pisces Moon encourages the energy of dance since Pisces rules the feet. So dance like crazy and move energy through your feet, which will not only shake out everything from the core and move things fast, but will anchor and ground you as you connect those feet to Mother Earth – Terra. She will in turn help transmute the energy and send it back with a recharge!
That watery Pisces energy is also about dreaming – whether receiving prophetic dreams or engaging imagination to dream big.
This has been a big one for me. I’ve been engaging dream visioning and just going wild with them, as long as they are aligned with the “now” me in every way.
So yes, dream a little dream…..or make it a big one! I am!
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something and don’t let their doubts become yours.
Also, learn to temper engaging intentions and detachment, envisioning, but also not overly talking about them. Keep a little bit of the magick to yourself so that you don’t lose the momentum. Patience is key, but don’t give up!
True, it will take dedication, drive, endurance, time and major effort, but if you believe in it, it’s the breath of life to you, and it fills your heart with joy and passion then you owe yourself and those that will be touched by your dream who you can’t see right now or gauge analytically, the opportunity to make it happen.
Live life to your fullest and responsibly harness your creative potential as example.
I’ve been immersed in a lot here (I bet you have too!), but continue to have a good majority of my life focused on “Earthing” in Nature and working closely with the Faeries and Elementals of the land to co-create and manifest together. Not to mention, continuing to engage my Star family from beyond, including my dear ones who have moved on, as well as the magickal Cosmic Astrid. It’s a balancing and merging of Earth and Cosmos.
This has continued to lead me on paths to new portals of discovery and doorways (including literal multi-dimensional doors of possibilities – more on that another time) showing up and opening.
I can’t begin to tell you how much has happened so quickly and anchored in in the last 5 months. Incredible! And as I look back I can see how that balance of alignments, patience, release, intention, and action have all come together.
I’ll share the exciting news on things soon, but it really has all become this fluid experience with some things immediately showing up and others all percolating, but are their own realities on a different timeline that are and will merge once I continue jumping them. And at the same time I’m seeing how there is always “something better” that reveals itself, just as is always my intention I voice when working on manifesting things. This ends up bringing together the most aligned outcomes that combine the ingredients of all that I love in an alchemical recipe only the Cosmos Itself within me knows how to do. And that involves stepping out of ego and attachments, and being open, open, OPEN to any and all possibilities that result in the highest good for all concerned.
And during these times, although I’ve been super active and life has been full, I’ve also been very inner (if you can believe that). Truly a Yin/Yang synergy of experience. And it is the inner time and the things I do actually keep to myself that allow me to put out the amount of energy that I do, as it does help me to conserve and restore, as well as continue to fuel things with a gusto of momentum.
I have huge amounts of passionate fire roaring inside and yet I’m letting it out in the bursts needed without crashing or burning out and without ever losing its fuel.
I continue to hold the expansive visions, while allowing things to organically morph along the way. Sometimes I’m so excited I could burst, but that’s when the Earthing and Nature immersion aids me in bringing my energy back down to a healthy kindling and allows a channel of support to come from the Spirits I honor and cherish.
It’s been so interesting to me that I’ve seen the most snakes I’ve ever seen recently in the last few weeks here (5 total – my fav/special #). Potent transformation energy! We don’t have rattlesnakes, but I’ve seen every size of Garter Snake from the tiniest of babies, to adolescent, to mature snake – Maiden, Mother, Crone energy perhaps? All aspects of myself merging, just as Earth and Cosmic parts do (this echoing a very prophetic and powerful experience I had in dream time just a little over two years ago that was the doorway to where I am now, but could have gone a different direction.
It’s 1:11 here as I conclude and paste in this, which I recently shared in an Instagram/Facebook post:
There are times when being alone or pulling within are necessary especially if you are doing very public work in terms of your path. There are spirits who may seem very visual and yet most of who they are and what they do goes unseen and is kept to themselves. But even if others see you, it doesn’t mean they REALLY see you or even fully know you, as you may be a reflection…truth mirror…or simply can’t be seen yet in totality because what you carry or embody isn’t understood yet.
I love you.
It’s been a very busy time, but balance is important to keep your vitality on high, so in the middle of it all I stopped to take time to create these beauties and felt to quickly share them to spread their energies of inspiration, creativity, planting seeds, manifesting intentions, magick, love, and harmony. I’m SO in love with my mini Faery succulent gardens I can’t take my eyes off of them and so I’ve surrounded myself with them! (They’re even more lovely in person) I had exactly the perfect time needed yesterday to create these magickal little sacred garden sanctuaries for our space with intention to create a more inviting energy for my Faery friends, for this Faery’s writing inspiration, and to welcome the new bunny love that will be entering my life in June. They’re created with 15″ diameter Faery garden mossy baskets, lined with succulent/cactus soil, planted with perfectly placed succulents, covered with Reindeer Moss, Clump Moss, Spanish Moss, Forest Moss, Faery Bark, Crystals, Sea Glass, Faery, Sea Turtle, Faery Portal Door, Rabbit, and sparkly Dragonflies. It was incredibly fun to get my hands in the dirt and channel these homes and playgrounds for my friends. Can’t tell you how much joy they bring me. ✨💚🌈🍃🐇🐢 I even had enough succulents to create two potted mini gardens too – one of which had a sprawling succulent growing already, but was lonely and now has friends. These are perfect, mobile, enchanted gardens for my bohemian lifestyle, need for ease and mobility, and yet satisfies the artist in me and inspires my loves and passions. Speaking of which…..back to my writing and focuses here! Enjoy!
Yesterday the snow called and we headed off on a snow shoeing adventure in the deep, fresh powder along Taylor Creek in South Lake Tahoe.
No footprints had yet to touch this winter wonderland and the only signs of life were the trees bowing to the presence of the snow, the creek rolling swiftly by and spiraling over rock beings that welcomed the water’s caress, crystals sparkling in the white blankets all around, and a wood pecker who was intuiting where to create a portal in the tree he had chosen.
This stillness was loud and the solitude was welcoming.
Incredible surrealism enveloped this enchanted realm, as we made our own path through the magickal forest and over an arm of the creek, traversing a tree limb packed with snow that provided a bridge to the “other side”.
It was there, off path a bit, that a lone giant caught my eye. I veered off the path I’d been following behind Dave, as it beckoned me closer, which meant making my way through thigh high snow.
After getting about half way, I noticed Dave was far ahead and knew I should catch up, so I told the tree I would be back.
We stopped where the wood pecker showed up at the foot of a tree, feeling that was the place to turn around and so we made our way back and I told Dave we needed to return to the magick tree I’d found, as I promised.
This time I went the whole way, hearing the tree call me to step inside. Once reaching the tree I discovered there was a deep hole to step down into, as the snow had piled up outside of it. So in I stepped without hesitation, knowing this is what it had desired.
Dave captured the journey within this portal, along with many little orbs that filled the inside of the tree, with one larger one showing up.
Some almost look like snow, they are so white. And yet it was not snowing and I was inside the dark shelter of this giant.
If you peer closely you can see all of these tiny orbs moving around inside from frame to frame, from top to bottom of the portal, all around me, some on me, and then the much larger one above me.
This is why the tree beckoned, for my Faery friends and the Nature Spirits awaited.
There are whispers of magick everywhere, if you listen.
Yesterday we went on a hike that took us through the realm of the ice Faeries where ice castles, ice crystals, and ice beings dwell. I even found a beautiful Sun-lit Nature’s Christmas tree – all to enjoy in solitude, as no one was around. It was fantastical. It was magickal. It was my home. I hope you enjoy a stroll through the icy world we discovered and that enchanted this Winter baby a little bit more. Keep believing!
Cosmic puffs of dandelions consumed me in wondrous inspiration.
Like whirling dervishes of eternal magick, they enchanted me into the dance.
The portal to a field of stardust dreams was opened and enchanting mysteries invoked alchemy within.
A rich truth was awakened without need to understand.
Any wish I had, I could command.
Welcome back the Faeries giggled.
A dusting of miniature, lily white Faery star blossoms blanketed the forest, both diminishing me to their humbling yet rich, Earthly perspective and expanding me to their reflection of the boundless twinkling Cosmos above.
I felt like I was walking among the stars.
Yesterday was our last full day here in beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park, as we head out to Escalante in a few hours. I had chosen to save one particular hike to celebrate closure to our time in Bryce and it proved to be the perfect send off.
The hike was called the Fairyland Loop, which combines Fairyland Canyon with Tower Bridge and Rim Trails, creating one giant eight mile loop. It was by far our favorite trail in the park here, definitely living up to the phrase “saving the best for last” indeed.
On this hike you can see the Tower Bridge, China Wall, Sinking Ship, and yes, Fairyland!
So many spectacular views, as you hike amidst the hoodoos up close and see incredible vistas from afar as well.
I love this fun one below…there is a small opening in this large formation to the left center where Dave stuck his head through. And following is a close up of it. See if you can find him.
There were so many amazing formations with faces, creatures, and beings naturally carved, not to mention everything took on a life essence of its own creating forms such as melting candles, torches, castles, cathedrals, altars, portals, bridges, you name it.
It’s truly not a trail to miss, but we were so surprised that literally no one was on the trail except a few people at the beginning and end, which are trails connecting to the loop (so these people only were doing the short ends of the trail (Tower Bridge or Rim Trail), but not venturing into Fairyland where the true magick begins.
Perhaps the length and multiple elevation changes of 1700+ elevation are a put off to most people, or maybe the Faeries keep a discerning watch on who they allow into their realm. 😉
All I can say is if you do explore Bryce Canyon, you would be missing out if you don’t explore the full Fairyland Loop, as Fairyland Canyon is truly stunning – plus think of all the magick! After all, it’s Fairyland!
Our day kicked off with a small group of Mule Deer greeting us before we turned into the road to the trailhead, and on the hike we saw a lot of birds including Hawks, Wood Peckers, Steller’s Jay, and even a Peregrine Falcon!
And when we left the trailhead to drive back home to the RV, two little Prairie Dogs were playing in the field, chirping away as they were foraging for food. So cute!
And although we took the trail very leisurely, having all day to explore, we still completed it in 4 hours and even though they say it is a strenuous hike, we didn’t find it to be so compared to others we have done. It felt to meander along and between the sights and the flow, time moved quickly.
Before the hike I’d been very worried about Joy because I found her in the morning with her blind eye closed and it appeared as if the lens that had detached was moving around. Her eye was red and she wouldn’t open it unless I opened it to check it out.
So this had mom stressed. I put in a call to her eye doctor to leave them a message, that way on Monday I can order more eye drop medication to be sent out to me. And I looked up a vet near where we’ll be in Escalante, just in case.
I gave her lots of Reiki, along with a couple friends who joined, and the whole time I was on the hike I was sending her Reiki, along with Nestor, Cosmo, and Gaia, inviting the Faeries to help too, since I was in Fairyland.
I’m happy to report that when we got home, her eye was open and looked much better and has continued to be open. I am hoping we nipped what ever was happening with all the energy, and that with the meds coming we will avoid any complications, as the doctor has told me that if there is an infection they would have to remove the lens and that’s not a good thing to put a rabbit under for surgery if you can avoid it, which is why he didn’t do it in the first place since her eye was healthy despite being blind, which was due to age.
Anyway, I’m so grateful to everyone and especially the Faeries, as I couldn’t have been in a better place to ask for assistance. I, of course, promised to give them things in return, honoring their help and time.
And they were so generous, gifting me things along the hike.
I found a heart rock, a larger stone that is part of a project, and two smaller rocks encrusted with small chips of crystals layered on one side!
That I even saw them was meant to be, as they were the only ones like it and I just happened to catch their glistening sparkle to the side. Perhaps it was my Faery eyes that were attuned to seeing it, but I feel it was a gift they wanted me to have and when I got home I immediately brought them to Joy.
She was really loving them and licked and nudged them when I placed them by her.
A little Faery magick for my Faery bunny.
We even saw this amazing Faery castle formation surrounded by a citadel of magickal towers that was breathtaking and literally my favorite formation of all.
The day was perfect and although it started off full of stress and worry about my little one, it was being supported and nurtured throughout, so little by little I was feeling rebalanced and grounded back into my flow.
The experience helped in transforming my heart back to peace and recentering me back into embodying harmony.
It all reminded me that no matter what is going on it is best to surrender and remember who we are….this will bring us back to the love and magick that is our nature and then all things are possible from this place of centeredness.
Thank you Faeries!
I hope you enjoy the enchanting photos from our day and that they help transport you into the nature of you and all that is possible when you remember who you are.
