This felt like a perfect photo to share for this very short, but deeply heartfelt, post in celebration and gratitude of having reached 1 million visitors on my blog. The symbolism of Geese reflects what this blog represents to me and is a conduit for…my commitment to responsible sharing as a dedication to the collective, as the energy moves through me, and understanding how that is a threading of everyone’s contributions, energy, time, insights, and reflections that have taken place here since I first started my blog, and of the experiences I could never have solely on my own because it takes teamwork to co-create together. The worldwide web makes so much possible, even if it also has its streams of non-productive use, in bringing us all together across oceans, lands, and beyond, which is truly one of its beautiful and valuable gifts. I celebrate all of you with this post and share my gratitude for being here at this time to anchor in new realities.
I just love Geese and as I’ve shared before, their medicine and message is that of teamwork, comradery, fellowship, dedication, committed responsibility, the balance of knowing when to lead or follow, being compassionate keepers of the community, embodiment of the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life, and never leaving one of their own behind for any reason (they will stay with the sick and injured until they are either well again, or to support them as they transition) – that last one sure reflects what took place for me on Sunday. 😉 Goose LOVE in action!
Thank you to everyone for being a part of the journey….mine, yours, OURS.

Standing at 13 inches, this Faery Shamanic Dream Wand is one of the newest in the Magick Crystal Wand collection I’ve been channeling as commissions. As mentioned in the previous post about the Sky Spirit Shaman Magick Crystal Wand, I’m not posting all of the creations, but the ones I feel might speak to others energetically in a collective way. This is another incredibly special being that carries some potent energy, is quite substantial in design and weight even though so ethereal in essence, and reminds me of a Faery Queen’s wand. I’m so loving all of these inspired creations that wouldn’t be manifesting without the combined partnering of energies with their new guardians.
I think the energy of this beauty speaks for itself, but will share a bit of what elements are woven into it to bring it all about, which includes a gorgeous, thick light wood wand, 10 Golden Ray Selenite Blossom petals, 1 Amethyst focal point, rose gold wire throughout wrapped in an etheric/cosmic web and ending in spiral vortexes/portals extending out in emanation from each of the 4 corners/Amethysts, a smaller spiral at base of the 11 clear Quartz point mirrors, antique rose satin cording around shaft draping down to the 3 extremely magickal, silver goose feathers, and 8 female mallard feathers around the shaft (for a total of 11 feathers), just below the Quartz.
It has such an exquisite, Sacred Feminine energy!
Before sending it off on Monday I will be infusing extra Reiki, Cosmic intentions, and sound into its frequency.
As always, it is my intention to have these stay in a natural beauty essence, as if fashioned by the Forest Faeries themselves.
Here is a breakdown of elements included below.
3 Silver Goose Feathers – The Goose and its feathers embody loyalty, forging ahead with bravery and confidence, teamwork and comradery, protection, clear communication, determination, dedication, fellowship, fidelity, fertility, the balance of knowing when to lead or follow, compassionate keepers of the community and embody the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life, astute navigation, discernment of life path and choices, teamwork, protection, and committed responsibility. Geese never leave one of their own behind for any reason. They will stay with the sick and injured until they are either well again, or to support them as they transition.
8 Female Mallard Feathers – communication, letting go, strong sense of knowing, awareness, preparation, speaking your truth, intuition, finding your flow, not settling, all about water elements, creating a sacred sanctuary nest that soothes your soul, graceful self confidence, connection to ancient ancestor wisdom, luck – preparation meets opportunity, the power of being in the now moment, being at peace, letting it be, having the resources to navigate your life, taking notice of your surroundings to see the new opportunities being offered, being ready to move forward swiftly to embrace opportunities presented and to succeed with your goals, exploring your emotions and clearly navigating them so you can release what no longer serves.
11 Clear Quartz – master healer, harmony, clarity, supports psychic abilities, healing, amplifies energy and thought, as well as effects of other crystals, releases, stores, absorbs, regulates energy, draws away negative energy, neutralizes, balances, revitalizes, cleanses, enhances, deep soul cleanser, etc.
5 Amethysts – Increases nobility, spiritual awareness, opens crown, psychic abilities, inner peace and healing, calmness, healing of body, mind and soul, positive transformation, protection, meditation, balance, relieve stress, communication, opens intuition, supports sobriety, helps with disorders, enhances memory, focus, and motivation.
10 Golden Ray Selenite Blossom Petals – powerful, beautiful, and high vibrational Crystals that have come to light calling in the highest frequency of white light and the Golden Ray of Buddha, some say, storing Ancient Priestess teachings and can be used for a variety of metaphysical purposes – making them excellent for any healing environment. It connects to the Solar Plexus, Third Eye, Heart, and Crown Chakras, helping to integrate, open, and activate them. This supports us in creatively manifesting what is from our heart, directing our will in a loving, joyful manner. We are then able to create our reality based on intention, trust, and joyful wisdom. It helps you to become attuned to, and harmonized with, your soul purpose for this lifetime. Focuses are on joy, manifestation, and creation/creative energies and are really good for digestive issues and addictions, as the dis-ease of one’s will.
I wonder if her new guardian and co-creator will recognize the energy belonging to her for the journey ahead when she reads this post.
So, this was just too synchronous and fun not to share, as it goes along with yesterday’s post: Sacred Geese ~ Guiding Us Through the Cycles of Life
Just a few hours after I posted about the symbolism of geese yesterday and their meaning in my own life, we met Dave’s brother, wife, and daughter Violet whom you may remember from my ballet post: Dancing My Way To A Rebirthing Of The Light, after which we took them to the lake for a quick walk before they headed back south and home.
Two deer again showed up, I’ve now seen 15 in the same spot on three different occasions – today’s were prancing about a field next to two horses, which was super cool to see.
Deer help us to walk the path of gentleness, unconditional love, compassion, and to be in the presence of wonder, sensitivity and grace in all we do. Being with the horses felt extra potent, infusing deer’s gentleness and grace with the power, strength, and freedom of horse.
Yes, it is about gentle power. One does not have to be harsh to be empowered and voice yourself, your truth, and your boundaries.
Yet it was at the lake that the funny thing took place (and when I say funny I mean it was just so deliberately perfect and synchronous I had to laugh inside), which felt directly connected to my having spent time reflecting on geese and feeling their importance in my life.
The second I got out of the car after we parked, I heard the geese loudly honking.
And as I walked to the back of the car I then saw a geese couple at the end of driveway making their way over.
This was a different couple than I had photographed the last time (and that you see in my post from yesterday). The previous couple was gray and very calm, other than the honking.
This couple was ivory, white, and brown and full of energy. They were much more active and displaying the need for action in life, once you receive the message and understanding.
So the previous couple had been the first indication of message and this couple was now the ones to drive it home with “oomph!”
Both had been quite incessant with their communicating, but this couple came quickly towards me, as if on a mission. They weren’t afraid to take action – hint, hint! Action speaks louder than words. 😉
Everyone else had gotten out of the car by now, as these two geese (a male and female) were only about five feet away at this point.
The male seemed very protective of the female, as they do watch out for their own. He displayed a lot of affection with her as well and I was completely absorbed with them and all of their behaviors, especially after having written about them in the morning.
It may also be that breeding season is approaching, as I also did see one species of duck mount another in the water the same day. Lol!
So there also seemed to be a theme around partnership, couples, and communion being messaged – a lot around teamwork, communication, and compassion being key – big yes! as we had just discussed this around challenges people we knew having and were reflecting on how we have continually and diligently worked on this ourselves and how grateful we were that we had the ability now to be effective with communication that we once did not.
Our conversation made us appreciate what we had, whereas so many have a huge challenge in this department.
(In the photos below you can see the two ducks I was referring to. I immediately knew he was after her and as soon as I said that he mounted her. After he pursued her, he was on top of her so much that only her little head is popping out of the water. Then he releases her and she flutters her wings and follows after him. )
But back to our geese couple…..it could also have been that he was caring for her or trying to get attention to help her because she seemed to appear to have a odd bulge on her neck that didn’t seem normal. Reiki on the way….
In any case, he was exhibiting boundaries since they are very territorial – a great reiteration of the message about boundaries being important and that has constantly been a message collectively, as well as something I continue to exercise in bigger ways myself. I also consistently find myself giving this message to people I know, clients, and students. We are taught to believe in oneness, which is inherently the case of our collective nature, but one must know healthy boundaries in order to operate fully and empowered, as their piece within the whole.
And, maybe he wanted to also let me know that everything I had surmised from my reflection was accurate. 😉
He wanted to drive the message home so I would not forget about timing and alignments with the transitions I’m making and in fact it IS NOW, beginning immediately, just as I’ve felt and how things have lined up to free me. This all commencing tomorrow and fully kicking in Monday once we’re settled in our new temporary home.
So he continued forward toward me, but by this time everyone was out of the car, and so with her just behind him or to his side, he began lowering his neck and coming faster, now just two feet away.
At this point of my not being alone, the message or reflection became one of a group dynamic rather than mine solely, as after I had received his message and stepped out of the way without fear, he went toward the others.
When the head-forward display where they hold their head low and point it toward you or anything takes place, they are in fact feeling an increased threat of some sort. He never went into the bent-neck display, nor did he hiss or open his wings – sure signs of an attack about to follow. He simply kept charging forward.
I loved his standing in his power and creating a firm boundary.
Oddly, I was the only one who did not seem to have fear about this.
He actually got between one to two feet away from me at one point, since he moved fast, until I moved out of his path.
I don’t feel he actually wanted to attack. I feel he simply wanted to give a message.
I felt that he was reflecting a powerful stance of which I am also taking in my life, and reminds me of the dream where I met Neptune and rose to the occasion with standing in my power fully turned on.
I felt he was also exhibiting a reflection for the others with me, given their current journeys right now of which I am aware of.
But since I saw them first and he approached me first, I really had to giggle inside since I’d literally been immersing myself in geese reflection just a few hours before.
Perhaps this understanding of mirrors, geese symbolism, and my awareness around my life shifts helped me to be at ease and find the humor in this timely experience of perfection, not feeling fear, although also not making foolish moves.
I honored the goose and what he was standing up for, as well as respected our mutual journeys that had crossed paths in reflection.
While I did not take an attack stance back, which others did, I also didn’t just turn a cheek to the potency of the experience.
I looked it full on and honored the goose energy within us both, so there was no need for defense, but simply to flow in harmony with Nature once I received the message.
And so I freely and safely moved on to my own path, after the meaning of our convergence was received, so that the goose could continue on his.
There was mutual respect and understanding between us.
I found Nature, once again, to be such an amazingly wise and synchronous friend who always provides the answers if we are present enough to receive and integrate them.
Alongside the most deer I’ve seen all at once at any given time this last week, geese have also been prevalent in sharing their medicine – very loudly in fact! 😉
Goose symbolism is quite inspiring, to include loyalty, forging ahead with bravery and confidence, teamwork, comradery, protection, clear communication, determination, dedication, fellowship, fertility, and fidelity.
They mate for life, just like swans, raising and protecting their offspring together, while also looking out for one another throughout the lives they share. In this way they may symbolize your finding a soulmate or your desire to have that mutually supportive kind of partnership that is a soulful union acting together as a team.
They are known to be compassionate keepers of the community, are examples and guides for us to know when it is time to lead or follow, and they embody the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life.
Reverence for geese goes way back to include their place as a sacred bird in the Roman temples of Juno, as sacred totems of Winter Solstice for Native American Indians, as well as symbols of the North Wind in Greek Mythology.
They have a very distinct “voice” and this loud “calling” seems to be a persistent reminder and message of telling us that it’s time to step up, take action, take the lead, and begin your soul’s quest that has been awaiting your attention.
“Now is the moment,” they seem to say. “Come, step into your power and truth.”
And if you still ignore the message, they will not forget to keep reminding you.
They seem to also reflect transition by way of their migration patterns leading them from their home to new destinations. They are also the space in between…the void…the potent percolation that happens from one point of the process and journey to another. And they only stop along the way to regroup and feed.
This perfectly mirrors my own life shifts right now, whereas I’m transitioning into a new time period of my life and a new level of expression of my essence. I have an immediate transition happening and a longer term transition, as I am in a consistent and continual migration for an unknown period of time – perhaps a couple of years – as I/we journey from one destination to another on our RV adventure.
So there will very well be a lot of transitions happening before I fully return “home”. For now home is what I carry with me in flight, as home truly is within the heart.
The process involves knowing that it’s all about the journey and anywhere I am is a place I can commune with others, gather and retrieve the necessary tools, support, ingredients, and integration, and communicate/express the energy moving through me at any given moment.
Geese leave to migrate in Autumn to discover, explore, and search out new experiences, worlds, and dimensions, which also is a direct mirror of my journey since we began our RV journey on October 13th (already 4 months now) at a time of major transitions in my life.
Autumn is a time of change – literal transition, release, reflection, taking stock of our inner bounty, inspires with the glow of color changes in nature’s cycles, and reminds us to balance the light and dark.
The geese then return in Spring, as a fulfillment of new beginnings. Spring is about renewal, awakening, the splendor of new life and all things fresh and vibrantly full of color radiance, refreshment, and stepping out in a big and bold way like never before.
As mentioned, I feel I will have smaller seasonal cycles of this migration of life experiences during our time living in the RV, but also a larger one at the end of our RV journey.
So there are spirals within a larger spiral taking place and I imagine geese will be continually calling to me at those potent moments I am ready and soulfully needing to take flight on the next leg of the journey to where I’m heading.
Their unrelenting and loud honking calls us on a spiritual journey and alerts us to embrace the timing and alignments necessary and most beneficial to support where we are headed and towards the things we are creating and here to live out and embody.
The way they fly and migrate is also very mysterious and mystical.
They consistently shift their formations in the sky, which creates easier wind drafts for the geese behind them to have an easier flight.
This reflects something I constantly impart to others about how when we focus on our own journeys, it is never isolated to an individual experience, but in fact always is connected to the collective in how our discoveries and growth helps pave the way for others to do the same more easily and efficiently.
This is also why service is truly about realizing this inherent connective thread that just IS taking place without contriving how that needs to look. When you are you and expressing your essence and soul energetic signature, then that IS service.
Geese fly in a v-formation which is both a fertile symbol and a potently focused one – like that of the chalice or an arrowhead. It both opens us and points/directs us to new beginnings, ideas, and possibilities.
A blend of yin and yang. A balance of feminine and masculine energies in harmony as one.
They also never block one another when they fly in formation. Each individual in the flock always has a clear view in front of them, so they know the power of seeing the path ahead, being alert and aware, having clarity and staying focused, but also of not obstructing or getting in the way of others, but rather taking our place alongside one another and supporting clarity for all.
Another beautiful and compassionate expression of geese is how their natural way of being is about being who they are as a part of the greater whole. Their communal instincts on a bigger picture level guides them to never leave behind an ill or wounded fellow member of their collective family. It’s simply a natural part of their way of being.
And their instinctively knowing how to balance leading and following is also a beautiful part of their teaching. They know when it’s time to step up and to also allow others to step up when they are in transition.
Members of their flock will alternate in these leading and following roles, which exhibits to us the importance of balance and harmony within our own and nature’s rhythmic cycles. This removes any elitist attitudes and ideas and teaches that leadership is a shared experience that provides opportunity for growth to the greater good.
I’ve seen this in my own evolutionary experience with teaching, as my role has shifted more into a balance of outwardly active teaching when necessary, coupled with inwardly stepping back to allow others to be empowered and take the lead.
I facilitate and energetically create a space for others to step up, while I observe and energetically encourage people to lead and teach.
And I know when the times are that I need to then step back in again.
It’s a balancing act of presence to the energetic streams, where we learn more and more to be guided by intuition and the higher self, rather than ego.
Geese also happen to be vegan and if they are showing up a lot for you, they may signify introducing more fruits and vegetables into your diet, or perhaps are messaging you about your relationship to food and your individual sensitivities to the animal world.
I’ve created such a new relationship with geese that has moved far beyond what I’ve known and experienced of them in the past.
It’s interesting that we often hear and use the phrase, “silly goose”, which in fact to me indicates that the journey can be light, joyous, childlike, and humorous, but geese are in no way “silly” within their knowledge and experience of life.
Perhaps in this way that they’ve come to be known by many actually indicates their role as the Fool, in Tarot – one of my favorite cards and symbolism – which is that inherent wisdom within innocence that goes unseen when we aren’t engaging full awareness of the depth and mystery potently awaiting discovery.
I also find it fascinating that I call my little bunny loves “geese”. I’ve been doing this for the last year, since Cosmo came into our lives. I don’t know where that came from, but I constantly refer to them as little geese, baby geese, my little goose-lings (instead of gosling), geese-lings, and goose-a-ling and geese-a-ling LOL!
They do in fact represent the divine masculine and feminine and have that harmonious partnership and way about them that balances leading and following.
It’s so interesting to observe the way things show up in our lives when we simply listen to the messages within.
Duck, Duck, Goose!
This Goose crossed my path and as always I like to explore animal spirit medicine to see what symbolism is being reflected to me, along with any pertinent messages or supportive energy are being gifted and channeled my way.
This will be just a quick little share for anyone also interested in Goose symbolism or has been connecting with Goose a lot recently, as I need to run off to Cosmo’s chiropractic appointment.
Goose symbolism is quite inspiring, contrary to maybe some of the ideas people have about them.
It includes that of loyalty, forging ahead with bravery and confidence, teamwork and comradery, protection, clear communication, determination, dedication, fellowship, fidelity, fertility, and the balance of knowing when to lead or follow.
They also symbolize compassionate keepers of the community and embody the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life.
Geese also happen to be vegan. So they symbolize a veggie and fruit diet and that this may be in alignment for you, or to incorporate more of these foods into your life – got that one covered. 😉
One really cool thing about Geese is that they never leave one of their own behind for any reason. They will stay with the sick and injured until they are either well again, or to support them as they transition. Now that’s loyalty and commitment for you!
They are extremely gifted in navigating, so they assist us in discerning our own paths in life and the choices that we’re presented.
They have amazing communication skills that they use in teamwork to help each other and protect one another. This protection quality also shows up in how they will fend fiercely for their young.
Gotta admire and respect these wonderful beings for what they demonstrate as example for us.
