For those of you who also love Lee’s Energy Updates, I thought I’d do an extra post just for today, as we close at the year, to share his insights for our upcoming 2019. Lee calls this year a fresh start for many of us – a year of beginnings starting a new 7 year cycle of elevation.
It’s a time to harness what is within you now and show up like never before by tending to and nurturing your needs, and slowing down.
Lee says, “Don’t put yourself off this year.”
“The dream energy that you have in your heart is a dream for the planet,” he adds.
I couldn’t agree more and have shared this message Lee expresses, which is why I am at this place along my journey that I am now.
Wishing everyone a restorative January and a New Year of expansive potential.
Astrid is excited for 2018! And together we are both wanting to share the joy, so here’s a cute little video of her jumping with glee (sorry the evening lighting is so dim) and her first morning, Full Supermoon of 2018 photo, bright-eyed and ready to get this party going! As promised, she and I sent in our Save A Bunny donation this morning from the holiday sales, which felt really good. Thank you to everyone who helped! We were so happy to hear they met their 2017 end-of-year donation goal, so we decided to be the first of 2018 to get things rolling there for the bunnies! Also a way for us both to anchor in what’s dearest to our hearts.
She and I did a big Reiki Healing Attunement last evening from our new magickal space, to put into motion all that we are working towards creating in 2018 and today there’ll be more intentional actions taken place to support these too.
Part of our New Year’s Eve was spent walking through the forest by moonlight (there was a faint rainbow ring around it), which was my favorite part of the evening besides being welcomed home by Astrid waiting for me in the exact place I’d left her upon leaving, on the very carpet in the video you see.
We shared tons of snuggles and kisses before I went to bed, but not until I’d fully satisfied both of our desires to connect and be with each other when the house was still and only she and I were up sharing tenderness and creating magick through our hearts.
Perfect way for us to start off the New Year immersed in love.
Hoppy New Year everyone!
However you feel called to put closure to 2017 and welcome in 2018, the energies seem to point to an inward focus on extra nourishing self love on all levels. What ever has been nudging you softly or loudly, would be key to listen to and take action on for yourself. January 1st, 2018 will really kick off with a watery bang, as we enter the year with a Full Supermoon in Cancer alongside other planets also in Scorpio and Pisces – water everywhere! Pretty powerful stuff to start off this 11/2 year numerologically.
A lot of emotional, relationship, and sexual dynamics will continue to surface worldwide and present potential for resolutions, although they may feel explosive at first.
The end of 2017 has been more internal for me as I root and anchor energies in that I’ve been putting into motion over this last year, create our new sanctuary space, enjoy deeper connecting with Astrid, and get focused on what I am creating in 2018.
The forest around us has been the perfect environment and energy with all of this. It’s been amazing to reflect on all of the transformations that have taken place so quickly.
It’s incredible how much has happened this year and it’s almost surreal that it DID happen, as it was all wonderfully surprising to experience the greater expansion that took place with the way things manifested by listening and following the flow of energy.
I’ve been in reflection and in active mode of completing things, as I feel the second 2018 kicks in, things are going to move fast into the new directions that have been anchored. I’m already feeling the streaming in of that the last few days and today feels to be the last day of that slower movement forward because of the work and foundations that were being put into place.
Kind of reminds me of the squirrels and chipmunks I see constantly here around the house, scurrying around gathering nuts….I feel that’s what we’ve been doing, stocking up, nourishing, and prepping everything for this Winter of movement behind the scenes that is exploding quickly. The Winter has been delayed here, in comparison to last year’s biggest snow year in like 50 years, so there’s a sense of changing seasons with everything and surprises underway.
I’ve been feeling and saying that 2018 feels very pivotal in a new way. And since all the planets are going direct the day after the Full Supermoon, this seems to reiterate that feeling.
I’ve found reflections of completions and the very old me flowing through for full release and goodbye, as I completely leave behind all that is NOT now.
I’ve been a bit quieter online than usual because of these internal shifts, which is why you don’t see me as often right now.
I will continue to ride that out and flow with where the energy takes me into the New Year so that I can put focus where it is needed.
I really feel the excitement and freedom of moving beyond anything I have been doing and have been, to be the whole of me untethered by any past.
Astrid has been reflecting the same and together I sense an explosive year of creating together. She’s been shifting incredibly the last few days and getting revved up now that we have our shared room to work together in. We’re both excited.
So, where are you feeling called?
What feelings are holding you back from things?
You can utilize the energy of this Full Moon to bring to light those places of insecurity and fear, self-doubt and self-sabotage.
When we face those, we uncover the hindrances we’ve lent power to and reveal the answers to how to remove the obstacles and propel ourselves forward.
Wishing everyone an illuminating Full Moon, reflective New Year’s Eve, and a 2018 of harmony and consistency between thoughts, emotions, and actions. This will help manifest things efficiently and clearly.
Just a short message, as we plan to spend a quiet evening of self-nurturing to ring in and anchor the New Year intentfully in our magickal sanctuary space. Today, before sharing a delicious lunch at Simple Bliss Vegan Cafe here in South Lake Tahoe and enjoying a hike where I brought this magickal snowrabbit faery to life (my first full snowman ever made – of course it’s a bunny), we had some great news come in that we were waiting on – oh the divine timing on this last day of 2016! News upcoming.
But for now, this:
What ever you desire. Do it.
What you’re tired of. Release it.
What you don’t want more of. Stop focusing on it.
What you hide from or repress. Embrace, honor, and have unconditional compassion for.
What you’re afraid of. Take one gentle step toward.
What you don’t love about yourself. Love it anyway.
What you think you lack. You don’t.
What you compare about yourself to others. Stop it.
What you admire in others. You have within yourself.
Who you think you are. You’re more than.
Everything you tell yourself has to be a certain way before you can have or do what you want. It’s not true.
Don’t give up.
I love you.
Warmest wishes and magickal blessings for an inspired, transformative, creative, and expansive 2017 to all of you!
“If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you.” — T. Alan Armstrong,

Yesterday, Laura and I got to do our annual Tarot readings for each other for the upcoming year, which is always fun. We’ve only missed one year since starting this tradition, but it was back in action yesterday, as we enjoyed some magickal oracle deck shares.
One card that came through was from my Earth Magic deck and it is “FIRE” ~ Passion.
It stood out to me for the collective as a theme.
I’ll share the meaning straight from the deck for you, as I believe the questions presented are really important ones for anyone to ask within, as you face this new blank canvas ahead of you available for 2016 – a universally collective #9 year of raw and honest inner reflections, full-circle closure, spiritual growth, making necessary adjustments and cleaning out your house so to speak to bare only that which is most important to you, and really cultivating what you want to share with the world:
What are your passions?
What turns you on?
What ignites that inner flame, that creative spark?
When you feel devoid of passion, consider what is missing in your life.
It is most likely an absence of “fire in your belly,” something that makes your heart beat faster and quickens your breathing.
Passion is not something that comes from outside of you, although some events and circumstances can trigger it.
It is an intensity of feeling, whether quietly experienced or enthusiastically expressed.
Passion can simply be a strong feeling, or the sensation itself can be so powerful that it motivates you to act.
This is too often associated exclusively with sexuality, which is certainly one way of experiencing it, yet it limits its meaning and demeans the broader possibilities.
Open yourself to the truth of what you are passionate about, and find a means to express it.
Last night we spent a low-key New Year’s Eve sharing an early dinner and moving the celebration to the beach of the lagoon across from our RV home.
There we created a bonfire and roasted vegan s’mores. Then ended the night with New Year’s kisses to the little ones and off to sleep by 10:30 pm.
I drifted off connecting to my passions and what I was committed to bringing through this year – carry-through from commitments I’d made in my Solstice ceremony and from yesterday’s reading received.
These are photos I took of the fire last night, which was big and oh so warm and cozy. Seemed to mirror the magnitude of my passions and the reflection of comfort found within my more solitary and still-retreated experience these days.
I loved watching the flames dance, feeling to be a mirror of the magnitude inside of me energetically, despite outside appearances at this time in my life – much going on behind-the-scenes and in a way most reflective of my Faery self that has gone into her realm more.
I kept seeing images in the fire and in one of my photos a rabbit immediately showed up (for me)…not sure anyone else sees it, but it’s there. That was a very cool reflection for my year ahead.
What images might you see reflected in the flames, as you gaze upon them?
In general, I loved the symbolism of ending the year with a fire. It was huge and embers were flying everywhere, along with giant pieces of ash that looked like faeries flying against the black carpet of the Cosmos above. Perfect!
Transmuting the old in the flames.
Rising from the ashes like the Phoenix.
Stoking the fire within.
Deepening into the embodiment of fiery passions that are the very essence of who I am.
Magick amidst the seeming darkness.
May your year ahead be passionately reinvigorated, as you deepen into the heart of you!
