The Universe Was Made Just To Be Seen By My Eyes

For anyone feeling lost, confused, scared, purposeless, hopeless, heartbroken, in the dark, alone, unloved, in mourning of a beloved or a meaningful part of your life, I feel you and for what ever reason, I feel a nudge to send you an energetic hug and outpouring of love from my heart to yours.

You are beautiful because you are you.

Nothing more and nothing less.

No one does you better than anyone.

Regardless of how your experiences play out, they are perfect in any form they come.

What we deem mundane or special is one and the same.

It doesn’t matter.

May you feel a spark light up in any dark corner of your heart you might be experiencing.

Here’s a simple, favorite song of mine for you today by Ryan O’Neal who makes music under the name Sleeping At Last.

“How rare and beautiful it is to even exist….”

“…the Universe was made just to be seen by my eyes.”

Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: You Are A Canvas To Paint From The Palette Of Your Heart

tania marie

As I’m up to my Faery ears in creative fun here at the Forest Portal, Whimsical Wednesdays inspired me to share about a recent transformation I physically went through to keep in alignment with my own inner artist and soul signature expression. I’ve mentioned many times before how we can live “life as art” and that my own personal motto has been “creating life as a work of art.” This extends to all aspects of you and your experience, and I know that one of the ways that always feels to boost creative energies and inspiration for me, is when I change my way of adorning myself with different clothing choices, accessories, hairstyles, or even hair colors. The latter is what recently took place just last Thursday.

Aqua has always been my favorite color and I’ve often admired women who had aqua/teal colored hair. I just never wanted to go through the process of how you needed to get that at the time.

I actually didn’t have a plan to do this, it just happened spur of the moment. I briefly mentioned that it might be fun to do sometime and perhaps would do for my birthday. Then while I was at my hairstylist, we both got excited at my mentioning and a momentum kicked in high gear.

I walked out looking as you see in the above photo.

It was easy to do at this stage because I already have natural silver hair at top, and silver ribbons we’d been weaving in below to accentuate my wanting to go bolder and even more dramatic with embracing my silvering hair while my natural ones grow out.

I’m known to do things either big or not at all.

This provides the base to just add a color toner of my choice over these areas. It’s only semi permanent, as it fades out over continuous washings.

It was obvious to me, I was ready for this even bolder expression of my soul’s essence and having the light to darker shades of teal weaving through my brown hair makes it feel so natural to me.

For me, the aqua or teal has always represented the higher heart energy between the heart and throat – a place I feel has been more of the journey for me to expand and deepen into. Yet, it also is a color exuding a lot of creativity energy and expresses transparent, vulnerable, open communication between the heart and spoken word.

I feel much flow, joy, peace, balance, and wholeness in it.

Not to mention, it really exudes watery energy, which speaks to my Native Pisces nature and my inner mermaid or merfaery. 😉

It feels like another way I’ve embraced putting myself out there more, not being afraid to be seen, and not shying away from the parts of myself that at one time made me feel lonely, misunderstood, and different.

I’ve always felt “not of this world” and yet I’ve learned to be in it with much greater joy and peace while I’ve worked hard to merge the Earth and Cosmic parts of myself.

This new hair feels to be a visual reflection of that merging I’ve worked so hard on and the synergy I’ve been finally able to create in finding more harmony in being. It whispers of an ancient me and speaks of a future me, intertwined in the now.

And so, this new creative energy I have cascading throughout my hair, speaks to deeper embodiment for me, self love, and honoring of my creative soul.

It’s really cool to see how something so simple or perhaps silly to some, can truly speak volumes of someone’s journey and can make an energetic difference in the way you live each day in or out of alignment.

While I may do things more dramatically, even just simple changes make a world of difference.

I’ve definitely felt a shift with this new, but perhaps more “now me” and even reflections of this alignment I feel.

The first time I went out with it to an event, an older woman in her 70’s came over to me to tell me that between my hair and how I was dressed, I really looked to be very creative and artistic.

I thanked her and replied that I was in fact an artist, to which she smiled and said she could see that.

Perhaps it’s my way, as my tattoos have been, to display my heart on my sleeve and share who I really am even more transparently and unapologetically. Not to mention, is a way I share the process of my journey very openly.

Something that was very hard for me growing up and even made me cringe in the beginning stages of my adult life when I started to reveal more of myself and my artistic and spiritual work to the world.

I’ve noticed a huge creative spurt the last couple of days, too, as I’ve been in “mad” creation with the inspiration that has come for items I’ll be sharing soon in my new Etsy shop – new launch date TBA. In fact, just yesterday, I created 22 imaginative themed worlds of mini bunny Faery gardens. I have another 10 to go today, but alongside the new painting art and items, I’ve really outdone myself in output of creativity so quickly.

And I have so much more inside me to come, including great excitement (and even a bit of healthy nervousness) over returning to my book full time, which all feels interwoven like braids of hair.

I believe it has to do with my following the joy in my heart AND embracing who I really am – not being afraid to share with the world what moves through me.

This has been a very long and at times super hard journey, so I don’t want anyone thinking it came overnight and not without challenge. We have the tendency to only see what is before us now (which is great, as in focusing on the now), but tends to provide a false idea about people and that we each go through a process leading up to that now.

I mention this because, while I still work on things now, I want others to know that it is possible to move out of the place you find yourself in currently, if in fact you aren’t happy or are experiencing challenges. With commitment to you and your individual journey and process, you can create a different and more aligned experience to what you desire. Absolutely!

Growth of the spirit is a beautiful, although colored journey, and the only goal to achieve is the one you deem important to experience.

And speaking of spirit growth, many Native Americans believe hair to be a physical manifestation of the growth of the spirit and that it supports extrasensory perception, as well as connection to all things. They also believe hair to be like tentacles reaching out to take in energy and information much like whiskers on animals – makes me think of my bunny loves and their sensitivities to energies through their whiskers, ears, feet, nose, and inner vision despite being far-sighted and having a blind spot at the center.

I never thought of hair in the past as such until the last half dozen years or so, and every change I’ve made, including chopping it all and growing it out, has always reflected a turning point and shift in my life in big ways.

It really is something how the way we express our creative energy can affect things energetically.

And of course, not expressing it, has it’s own experiences as well.

Whether you feel creatively blocked or gushing with creative energy that wants a new outlet, you can do little or big things to help move it.

This could be in the form of things like playing more, as Monday’s blog shared, doodling on scratch paper, planting a garden, buying a new outfit, rearranging or redecorating your space or home, journaling and free-writing, singing, dancing, throwing paint on a blank canvas, molding some clay, spending time imagining and day-dreaming, walking in nature and seeing all of her beauty great and small, or even wearing your hair differently.

You, your life, is a blank canvas awaiting your creation. The palette of your heart is a vast and limitless space from which to choose how you want to express yourself and live your life. The only limit is choosing not to let those colors shine.

Monday Musings ~ The Writer’s Corner: Soulful Sunday 107 – Play by Brad

To celebrate the first blog back from The Writer’s Corner since my time away in Sedona, I’d like Monday’s Musings to kick off with the musings around the theme of “Play” because it truly is the cornerstone to well-being, balance, optimal living, and cultivating more creativity – IMHO. This is a great post by my sweet friend, Brad, that includes a wonderful article for both your inner child and children in your life to understand the importance of play in your and their lives.

I’ve heard recently from several friends that they struggle with wanting to experience more creativity, have blocks in terms of their writing and other projects, aren’t sure where to start in terms of their ideas and dreams, or feel challenged with experiencing joy and optimism in their lives.

I truly believe that play is so important to life and if it weren’t for my Peter-Pan syndrome refusing to “grow” up in the way others have accepted this to mean, I likely would feel all the same things too. Yet, I embrace singing, laughing, dancing, make-believing, making up stories, seeing through childlike eyes of wonder, believing in the magickal, seeing the glass half full, talking to myself and all the creatures of Mother Earth and the Otherworlds, recreating myself and my environment to match my heart’s joy, and embracing being silly despite others around me acting all “grown up”.

If you struggle with writing or feeling a block with your creativity, check out number eight of the ten benefits of play in the article within Brad’s blog post.

If you allow yourself to spread your wings beyond the boundaries conditioning has created and embrace having more fun, playing, and being silly now and then, you will definitely feel a difference in your life and experience it through different eyes as well.

Your projects, dreams, and writing will get a boost of freshness, as you reset a new way of being that embraces all those wonderful core parts of who you really are, rather than making them feel like they need to behave and have a life-long time out in the corner – remember, nobody puts Baby in the corner!

I hope this article helps inspire you to play more and make 2019 more joyous for you. I really do believe you’ll find your projects and life flowing and thriving more.

Here’s an accompanying short blog inspiration I shared before, with some quotes to inspire more play – Play More.

writing to freedom

This episode of Soulful Sunday explores the power of play.

Play is so important to optimal child development that it has been recognized by the United Nations as a right of every child. ~ Kenneth Ginsburg

play, poetry, silly rhyme Enjoying some playtime with my nephew Willie.

Children learn (through play) critical life skills for mental, physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and communication development. A growing body of research (and my experience too) shows that play is equally important to adults. Play supports health, stress management, learning, and better relationships.

We get so caught up in our responsibilities that we forget to play, laugh, and enjoy life regardless of our circumstances. Play is defined as any activity done for pure enjoyment, rather than serious reasons or purpose. The danger in posts like mine is that we will add play to our growing To Do Lists! Then you face the paradox of wanting to play because…

Monday Musings ~ The Writer’s Corner: Fragile is Like Breathing in a Bit of Stardust

Today’s Monday Musings from The Writer’s Corner is my own musing on the word “fragile” that I was presented with as part of a challenge by Linda of Litebeing. I’ve been quite immersed in family and end-of-year things, as well as new year start-ups, so I waited for the time to present itself for this, which feels like today.

The challenge is to write a post about Fragile and to include two quotes on the subject, then to nominate three other bloggers to blog about a word of my choosing. I shared with Linda that the word DID resonate very much with me and wasn’t surprised she had chosen me for this.

Being that I’m committed to my blog series these days and want to stay consistent with the themes, I won’t be taking on challenges unless they maintain synergy with my series. That being said, a musing felt appropriate as a writer to share for today’s theme and might be a reminder or inspiration for other writers, as well as anyone truly, about embracing each day and your dreams and goals now, rather than later.

I won’t be nominating anyone for a new challenge, as I don’t feel called to do that, but if you feel inspired to write about this word or any word that has meaning to you, I support you doing so and perhaps it might even kick in a creative flow if you’ve felt blocked in any way with your own writing and/or creating.

Now on to Fragile.

This is actually a word I think about often and feel as a strong underlying theme much of the time.

Interestingly, when I think about the word it brings to mind my rabbit loves because I see them as both resilient and fragile. They remind me of both how life is fragile and precious, yet resilient like them, and how vulnerability is strength.

Nature reflects this to us everyday as well.

“Some women feel the need to act like they’re never scared, needy or hurt; like they’re as hardened as a man. I think that’s dishonest. It’s okay to feel delicate sometimes. Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn’t a rose at all.” ― Crystal Woods, Write Like No One Is Reading

It’s that contrast of strength in vulnerability and that beautiful divinity within all experiences of “highs” and “lows” that is inherent in all, regardless of how it seems.

Butterflies are another example of fragility, as their wings are so delicate and yet it is those very wings that carry them miles to migrate. For example Monarchs have flown 3000 miles from Canada to Mexico for millennia.

There is so much beauty and power in something that is fragile.

And yet it also calls up a reflection upon the fleeting moment there for us to be present to and embrace as fully as possible because it only happens once and a future is not promised – at least not necessarily within the same reality as the moment before it.

“People die all the time. Life is a lot more fragile than we think. So you should treat others in a way that leaves no regrets. Fairly, and if possible, sincerely. It’s too easy not to make the effort, then weep and wring your hands after the person dies.” ― Haruki Murakami, Dance, Dance, Dance

If you have a dream, a loved one, friends, people, animal companions, passions and things you care a lot about, you don’t have forever in this life to put them off or say that you’ll give them your time and love when this or that happens. Those things may never happen. These people, beings, and things you love may not be there anymore.

Life is fragile.

Life is precious.

Life is here for you to embrace now.

And when you do…when you surrender to the fragility of now and surrender your heart to the hands of spirit, you get to realize the powerful potential and beauty of that delicate moment.

It’s within fragile moments that artists create, writers write, musicians compose, babies are conceived and birthed, inspiration strikes, innovation emerges, nature breathes, the cosmos weaves…

The human body is an incredible masterpiece – both resilient and fragile.

So often I think about this and how it takes just one moment that can change your life.

I’ve had several fractures that happened in quick and odd ways. And while my body has healed fast, proving its resiliency, it also helps me to make choices in my life about presence and what I value enough to put myself in positions of potentials like this.

I don’t live in fear, but I do live with awareness and make choices that reflect my values, passions, and beliefs.

I do the same with my dreams.

I don’t have forever in this body and my dreams can’t wait. Nor can the collective be put on pause until we each decide to step up and out.

Life goes on.

Cycles come and go.

Things change.

For this reason I follow the nudge of my heart and encourage myself to do things I love and that I feel guided with inspiration to express because when we surrender to that moment, we breathe in a bit of stardust that has the ability to propel us in unimaginable ways.

Even if just to add wings to our hearts.

It also makes a huge difference for everyone around us.

Imagine what happens within the person you say “I love you,” “thank you,” “I forgive you,” or even “hello” to.

Imagine what happens to you as well.

I find music and sound to be powerful.  For me, maybe the most powerful in assisting shifts, connecting dots, igniting creative power, and drawing forth from a deeper well in my heart.

This leads me to share two songs with the title Fragile.

The first is a favorite of mine by Sting. One of my top favorites of his actually. I thought I would include the lyrics and then the song to follow. I will let you sit with the words and their meaning for yourself.

Fragile by Sting

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the color of the evening sun
Tomorrow’s rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay

Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime’s argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could

For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star
Like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are
How fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star
Like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are
How fragile we are
How fragile we are
How fragile we are

The next is by Dustin O’Halloran and is purely instrumental. Another favorite of mine. Sometimes we don’t need words to feel the energy move through us and understand its message.

I think if you sit with this next song, you’ll be taken on a journey that moves you to the edge of fragility – where you feel the thin thread we walk between realities and worlds upon.

Fragile N.4 by Dustin O’Halloran

It takes but one fragile moment to change the course of everything.

A reminder for being as present as possible and realizing the power within a fragile instant where reaction and response, impetus and inertia, life and death dance.

Thank you Linda for the invitation to reflect upon this.

And just a note about next week, as Monday Musings takes a pause.

I will be away in the transformative energy of Sedona, AZ between Friday, January 11th and Monday, January 21st (which just so happens to be a Full Supermoon Lunar Eclipse), returning back to things on the 22nd. During this time I will not be blogging, except for maybe this Friday the 11th while I’m in transit – we’ll see if Astrid has a message for me for Ask Astrid Fridays upon leaving or if she wants to wait until I return for her next share.

That means I’ll skip one week of the ongoing series until I return and two weeks for Monday Musings, since I’ll be fully back on a Tuesday.

I’m sure that when I do return that it will be with new inspiration and another shift in motion, as being in Sedona always happens at key points when big change is in the air.

I hope the New Year is starting off well for everyone and that you find your own strength in embracing those fragile moments of inspiration.

Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: Being You More Creatively Will Help Create the World You Want to See

Welcome 2019. It is already the 2nd of the New Year, as I sit down to share this new blog post. Do you feel a shift in energy? I could sense something in the days leading up, and although each day is just that – another day – there does indeed feel to be a different air about things. At first I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but perhaps I don’t need to either.

Being that this #3 New Year collectively rings in greater creativity and innovative vision to bring forth through your personal vehicle of expression and embodiment, it may be that you are feeling a deep calling from within to make changes and live more from your heart than ever before.

I found it sweet that the day before New Year’s Eve, when we were hiking to the lake, I found a snowflake ornament hidden in the brush below this tree you see in the photo above. The tree is decorated year-round and I felt the discovery of this hidden sparkle of delight inviting me to hang a bit of magick this tree guardian would watch over that would reflect my unique creative expression in the divine collective – just as each snowflake is unique, but part of Source. It reminds me of a painting I did long ago titled, “Uniquely You, Divinely One.”

To me, this was also the message I was being shown in discovering the snowflake…that is what’s so important this year to truly shine our creative uniqueness in the world, as a way to empower the collective.

I looked around for some way to fasten the snowflake on the tree and Dave pointed out a small silvery white ribbon on a branch. So I threaded it through the snowflake and tied it on.

Perhaps this is the shift I was sensing. That things are truly focusing more on the micro, inherent in the macro. That what each of us chooses to express – no matter what it is – is what is going to shape the world the most. This being both the world – reality – you experience AND the reality for the collective as potential.

I know for me it’s been an increase in creative energy via new channels and forms and creating a lush reality around me that nurtures my heart and soul. I find the more I do this, the more I bring that level of peace, joy, and love out into the world more consistently and through each experience I encounter. AND the more I enjoy this temporary Earth home because I am embracing the potential it was meant to be.

This increase in creative energy came from inspiration I wasn’t sure I had in me anymore back three years ago – a time when I felt life on Earth no longer offered enough to keep me past the closure I’d come to.

And yet, just as the heart is vast and limitless, so too is our creative capacity. Creative reinvention found its way into my life again and I said, “yes” to it.

Are you ready this year to say “yes” to something in your heart?

Perhaps you might find at least one way in which you could express yourself in a new and currently more heart-full way?

Even if it’s just a new outfit, hairstyle, reorganizing or redecorating a room, starting a project, finding creative ways to spend more time or more meaningful time nurturing yourself, with loved ones, doing something you love, and/or, but quite importantly, out in nature connecting and receiving her gifts.

Currently I’m immersed in family visiting right now and having our niece here who is 6 1/2 years old truly always reflects to me the part of myself I value and nurture likely the most – my inner child.

It tickles me that she wants to spend so much time with me and I gather it is because of that part within each of us that meets in the heart…the little girl that loves magickal things.

It is this same part that is fueling my current creative projects – the focus full throttle now, after a lot of anchoring. I’ll be jumping back in after our family time comes to closure and can’t tell you how much energy I feel ready to pop.

I received word recently from my rabbit family that February 1st will be the launch of my new Etsy shop. It just so happens to be my beloved and departed rabbit, Nestor’s, birthday, as well as the magickal Imbolc of new beginnings, purification, and the light within blossoming.

And the more I keep channeling creative energy, the more I’m seeing and hearing of people all around me doing so many wonderful new things! It excites me greatly.

Some other big changes and arrivals have come all at the end of 2018 that perhaps I’ll share in another post, but for now I’m wishing everyone a wonderfully creative new spark in your life and that you find yourself feeling ready to nurture and cultivate more of what you love and desire, as well as intend for the world through your own actions.

The Visionary

Many of you see and envision things, and are guided by inspirations, that feel out of this world and unseen or felt by others. You believe in all possibilities and the invisible because for you it is real and through you hope is cultivated for others to experience the same. It’s your inspiration that nurtures the courage to take action on what channels through you, despite there being no assurance or promise of outcome because you are the builders of the path – the visionaries – and each step is creatively innovated as you go along.

When you act on your visions this creates alignment and magnetically draws forth magickal synchronicities, potentials that can be opportunities, incredible journeys, and collective possibilities. Although some of you do this more naturally, it is within all of us to live out our fullest creative power by more courageously engaging the visions and feelings that pulse through our hearts.

As we head into tomorrow’s total Lunar Eclipse Aquarius Full Moon (its totality will last a full 103 minutes during which time the Moon will become blood red and ochre – the longest Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse of the century), we are encouraged to stand centered and at peace amidst any chaotic and intense energies, so that we can see the hidden within and retrieve or release with awareness what serves and no longer serves us.

How can you recognize your unique individuality within the collective community and cocreate from that place of authenticity, rather than be led by the group agendas swirling around you?

Are you unwilling to courageously act upon your own inspiration that will create new breakthroughs?

There is a visionary awaiting your invitation to imagine and actualize a new experience.

While being a visionary can at times create feelings of being separate and on your own or a desire to escape this realm for another, remember that this is simply an illusion and a way to keep you from your creative power, rather than harnessing it.

Each visionary is needed to help manifest the inspirations you feel and envision, to actualize a transformation for this planet – our Earth Mother.

You are worthy.

Your visions are invaluable.

And now is the time to clearly bring them forth with others, as even if you aren’t hearing the love and support from those immediately around you, remember that so many of us, around the world and beyond, ARE loving and encouraging you from afar.

You are needed and each of your visions brought through into form, will both be empowering and create more empowerment for humanity.

And from there, may all possibilities be open to you.

To Live

30730034_10215515673592154_6716410348682275535_n.jpg

We often take for granted the things right before our eyes and even the things we’ve experienced in feeling because we are focused on achieving or racing against time. And quickly the incredible moments, people, and experiences disappear without our acknowledgement and without truly receiving what they have to share that can enrich our lives.

When you wake in the morning or before you go to bed perhaps you can reflect on those things and leave the rest for a few minutes, as it will still be there when you’re done, however the rest may not.

And along your day try raising your eyes to the sky, turning to your left or right to really see who and what’s besides you, or pay attention to your footsteps and how you are walking through life on your way to the next to-do on your list.

What are you missing today?

Your child’s desire for a hug or to know you more?

Your partner’s need for you to see or hear them?

Your animal companion’s pain they’ve taken on to help relieve your stress and get you to pay attention to what you’re neglecting?

How beautifully unassuming someone or something looks because they are unaware of their light shining through?

How nature has miracles to give you each day to help inspire and guide?

How incredible you are but never noticed the richness of what makes you you?

How amazing it is that you are breathing and have a choice every moment as to how you want to experience it and what you can do right now to make a difference?

Please don’t walk through life without ever knowing what it means to be living.

Off to Australia on the Full Moon ~ Updates & Inspiration to Leave You With

It’s been an incredibly busy month both in our personal and professional lives here and yet also incredibly rich with so much new sprouting, planting of seeds, anchoring of new cycles, and putting dreams into motion. This is a short update and words of inspiration before this Faery goes Down Under, as I’m immersed in things here before I leave for 19 days until 5/28 – traveling on Wednesday May 10th’s Full Moon in fact (known as the Full Flower or Big Leaf Moon) and will be in Australia for the New Moon of May 25th too, which is so cool. You’ll be able to follow along my travels via Instagram and Facebook, but I will not be available via text, phone, nor instant messaging. I’m keeping things simple with just wi-fi while away and will check emails now and then, but mostly only sharing quick inspirational photos of travels via social media.

I’m unclear whether I’ll put together any big blog when I return like I usually do from travels – maybe just a summary take-away. I will see how the moment moves me when things take place, but quick shares are much more conducive to my life these days than long recounts of experiences unless I really have the time.

The energy has felt very potent the last few days and I’ve felt to be in preparation for this trip energetically. My body seems to be recalibrating to a lot of new as well as has been channeling a lot of energy and downloads, so I’ve been resting when prompted, which is unusual for me who never takes naps. I continue to experience massive synchronicities, instant manifestation, and how everything I write about happens in the real world while I’m writing it.

I did a powerful Reiki Healing Attunement a few days ago and within hours everything I did it for came to be. (Another of my reminder nudges that if you have this as a tool, or any other tools you’ve learned, please don’t forget to use them, as they are powerful, but not only that, it’s your way of meeting intention with action and owns that you’re a co-creative partner who’s stepping up!)

Anyway, my writing has been going excellent, despite the full schedule of things, but also because of the full schedule and my honoring my body’s needs, the strong sense I had about a week ago that the last part would be written upon return from Australia has come to be. I got the message that there is something in Australia that will shift within me and open me to the conclusion of my book, so to just keep a healthy pace with writing and the timing would reveal itself.

Everyone has their own way of writing, but for me it hasn’t been an outlined plan, nor did I know the story until it wrote itself. So basically when I sit down each day, the material is channeled. I don’t try to foresee or start writing parts of it in my head. At the end of the day I let it be and start fresh the next…and then it flows when it is ready. So it’s very alive and has been a super fun process for me.

So I will basically have it all done before I leave except the very last part, which will conclude the week I return. I’m super excited! Again, this is only the first draft, which means I have much editing and what-not to do.

I’ll also be getting back to some Magick Crystal Wand creating when I return, but I’ve concluded my client work this week and will be immersed in my dreams, as well as welcoming in a new co-partner into my life when back! Yay!

Quick update on Dave’s speaking tour in Australia for Voiceless – it’s been going amazing. I’ve heard feedback from others in Australia and via social media on how awesome his talks have been. Very proud of him. He’s had quite a busy tour with just the first weekend he arrived in Sydney and this weekend off in Tasmania to explore (he said the MONA Museum there is the most incredible museum he’s ever been to and like a Disneyland for adults) before he completes his last four talks this week, back-to-back. He’s already done three for full rooms in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney. He’ll be concluding with Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane, and Melbourne. In between talks he’s been in media interviews and been enjoying the local vegan food. An article he wrote came out in The Age last week, as well as an article in The Guardian was done on his talk and came out a couple of days ago, with another from The Guardian from a post-talk interview with him due out in a few weeks by them as well. Busy guy!

Looking forward to joining him in Melbourne shortly for our adventure exploring the area between there and Brisbane.

Until, then, here’s some last words before I go.

I posted these photos of my Selenite Spiral Unicorn Horn Wand because it’s been one of the supportive energies for me during my time alone and writing, along with my newly created Faery Succulent Crystal Gardens and some other magickal friends. But more importantly I’m sharing them for inspiration to ignite the dreamer within you to focus and act upon those dreams. Besides we could all use a little Unicorn magick in remembering who we really are.

Unicorns help make your dreams a reality – taking you on a freeing ride beyond limitations and beyond the wildest parts of your imagination.

They are masters of the light and transformation who can bestow the gifts of magick to those who are pure of heart, or who commit to a life of pure expression.

These mystical beings help us to believe that anything is possible and support us to do what is thought to be impossible.

Life is fleeting…a blink of an eye…yet many of us keep pushing off the things in life we know in our hearts we would love to experience AND came here to experience.

Tomorrow is no guarantee, but you do have this moment.

Express the things you’ve wanted to share with others, do something courageous toward your dreams, experience something new you haven’t, and savor what you do have.

It may make all the difference and begin to write a new chapter that begins the first day you really start living.

A little feather mandala with 11 that I found yesterday, encircling an orange calcite heart for New Moon in Aries … Stirring the fire within to unleash your most transformative expression that wisely harnesses your creative and courageous spark of truest nature and embodiment.

One might ask themselves:

How can I create more balance and harmony in the giving and receiving of energy?

What values call to my heart most?

Do I experience frustration due to unrecognized opportunity, limiting perspective, and lack of self love?

There is potential for more integrity of self-expression and recognizing your natural beingness as you truly ARE.

I recently had a dream about a small magickal creature I was given from the Netherlands and it rested in my hands and then gave me a bite on my fingers, although without the intent to hurt and it didn’t, nor did it bleed, but I knew it was getting my attention. There isn’t a creature that looks just like what I saw in the dream, but the word pygmy and vole came to mind…I did discover there are pygmy shrews and field voles in the Netherlands.

I’ve made several connections to the entirety of the dream for myself and the connections of awareness it drew me too, but also while later looking into this animal’s symbolism, I was struck by something I read about vole that coincides with this New Moon energy and felt to share it too for the collective.

It shared how vole teaches about awareness to what is going on all around you with both sensitivity and alertness, but also simply teaches about expressing your nature, naturally, which comes through feeling and listening to your intuition with loving trust.

They also carry an energy and growth potential in embracing the learning around nature’s expression of both destruction and rebirth. So in essence, asking you to look at what needs to change or that you feel could use shifting in your life and then by listening you’ll be shown how to harness those changes with vole’s help.

And synchronous to my dream, voles teach us how to “sink our teeth into” the things we’re wanting to create…in essence showing us how to harness the visions and ideas with creative tenacity so we can make them productive and actualized.

There is so much angst and frustration out there around worrying about not being on path, searching, yearning, seeking out guidance to what exactly you “should” be doing, holding onto the belief there must be some idealized version and bigness around an end result of what this looks like, and coming up short on these expectations placed on it all by self and the messaging out there.

Interestingly, at the same time you worry and search, you are also avoiding the feelings inside, your intuitive messaging, those subtle or sometimes loud nudges, are self-sabotaging with conditioned beliefs, ingenious inner dialogue, and avoidance tactics, or even creating every obstacle and energy drain on yourself, otherwise.

Yet, what it boils down to is a need to surrender to what IS right now.

Who you ARE this moment.

The intelligence within you ALREADY.

You miss the opportunities every moment to just be YOU and bring through the creative vitality that stirs within your spirit and heart.

There isn’t a perfect outcome you need to strive for.

You simply need to choose to walk in the frequency of your vibration right now and how ever that leads you, IS exactly what you are here to do.

Don’t wait for some perfect answer or precise conclusion to your quest.

Give up the quest and realize the truth of your journey that is a step-by-step unfolding of you being you.

The more in touch we are with our feelings and the voice within, the more we know exactly what it is in each moment that would be the best possible use of our breath here on Earth. And that may be much more simple than you were led to believe, although without devising it, could very well turn into something much bigger.

But don’t judge what is and isn’t extraordinary or how if you only do “this,” you aren’t doing enough.

If you truly are embracing your spirit’s song and commit to expressing its voice in each experience you have, then you will come to experience the peace and harmony you seek…the next notes will become clear…and naturally you’ll have a symphony at work with your instrument in sync with the the collective orchestra.

I find that people create inertia because they dwell too much on the ideas rather than the feelings moving through. I’ve been there too.

You have and always will be messaged by your inner voice to where would most be in resonance and alignment to your vibrational expression.

We simply don’t listen and listening, nurturing, and supporting that voice is more key than how things need to look, as when we cultivate that, we naturally will be doing and being our best possible version in each ever-expanding and evolving moment.

So it won’t be about what big thing you “should” be doing, but truly about embodying your own bigness through being.

The less we listen and support that innate knowingness, is where we come up against the challenges.

And that inner voice will tell us when making changes would be much more supportive to our life and everyone’s lives we touch.

I recently went through this in a big way, myself, before we went on our Magick Bus journey and made the changes that were key to my spirit’s expression in order to thrive here or elsewhere.

If you feel a loss of passion, it’s not because you don’t have any or you need to discover your passion, you simply need to tune back into you, as somewhere along the line a door was closed on your feelings and the connection and love didn’t receive the nurturing that other things instead did. The nature of you doesn’t go away, it simply awaits remembering and dancing with once again.

And yes, that does become important, if in fact you desire to live from that purity of your natural vitality more and find yourself frustrated and tormented all the time.

Loss of passion may also speak to your completing a cycle on your spiral of life and rather than continuing to repeat patterns that keep you stuck, or drag you backwards like a whirpool, you simply need to get on the next spiral and create anew, integrating ingredients to bring forth continual alchemy of being.

Take an honest, deep, intimately vulnerable look within yourself and ask the really important questions. You’ll discover what the true “block” is to your having the very thing you say you desire…or in essence, to being more of who you really ARE.

It’s a very interesting journey we experience in our lives.

No right or wrong, nor timeframe. However, if you are feeling miserable or frustrated, that may very well be indication to try another way.

When we more actively engage ourselves as the truly empowered partners in co-creation, we can discover how to work with the alchemy latent within each of us to create.

How things evolve will be a beautiful spiraling of your nature unfolding her or his exquisite petals.

If you are feeling a squeeze on yourself, uninvigorated, and like you are suffocating, or ready to burst, then your spirit is messaging you to go bigger, expand, express, bring forth and wisely channel what is burning within.

If uninspired, this is your chance to choose to recreate yourself and do something that moves you, feels invigorating, and keeps your imagination and creativity engaged. Start inviting and bringing forth new elements to your life that stimulate newness and fresh perspectives to keep you thriving and challenge you to go beyond yesterday’s ideas and version of yourself.

That doesn’t always mean it has to be a huge outward change, but may simply be about inviting more of the little tweaks and perspectives to your current experience that inspire a natural unfolding from there.

You have the ability to choose completely new right now and to create something different, something more, but ultimately more you this moment.

This doesn’t need to be a do or die situation, but about really feeding your spirit’s song without any constraints on should’s and should not’s, nor about following patterns…but carving a new way that is more resonant aligned to you in the flow of energy streaming through that is simultaneously abound.

I feel that as long as we continue to touch in with ourselves, invite, and put into action ways to challenge ourselves to expand our capacity for creative expression and move into new areas of personal passion moving through us with expanding courage, we will find our lives enriched and continuing to unfold in amazing ways.

You are an intuitive being whether you think you are, or not.

When you reteach yourself to trust what you’re feeling and relax into a more peaceful state of presence, then you can be more mindful, discerning, and understanding of how to navigate the energy streams in healthy partnership of heart and mind where unnecessary risks, but invigorating challenge will meet in your always being exactly where your spirit desires.

Less Talking, More Doing ~ How to Keep Things Fresh & Your Motivation Strong

Since many of you may be like myself right now, engaged in, beginning, or thinking about jumping into new projects, shifting gears with life path focuses, channeling creations, and manifesting dreams, I thought to share a perspective and change that I’ve implemented into my life that has made a difference for me. It has to do with talking about the specifics and communicating to others the details around these things you’re engaged in and focusing energy and time on. While I’m a BIG communicator and LOVE to share, I’ve discovered that the less I talk about and share details pertaining to my current work, focuses, and plans, the more energy, enthusiasm, motivation, and inspiration I have to channel into them.

Science shares that humans are social animals, which lends good reason to why we like to talk a lot and that communication is actually programmed into us as a conditioned tool and way to thrive, and in effect, survive.

I’d add that on another level, we also tend to talk a lot when we’re unsure of things, lack confidence, are nervous, need an ego boost, or even to avoid having to actually “do” what we’re talking about. We can make it seem like we’re doing a lot when we engage in talking about all the details and plans, but then when it comes down to it, are not actually doing much at all.

I’ve generally always been one to share everything with others in my past, whether friends, family, loved ones, as a way to share my excitement, but then found myself shifting gears because I change so much, and others maybe thinking I was flaky because of this. Or, doing just as I shared above, wanting others to share in the excitement, perhaps even unconsciously engaging them to voice their concerns or doubts because I had fears around the things myself – so in this case projecting them to be voiced back at me.

But what I’ve discovered and implemented in most of my life across the board with how I approach everything now is with greater silence.

Silence is a source of power without need to explain, defend, or have its ego rubbed. I find it a great source of inner trust for myself and what I feel in my heart, and yes, a way to maintain the integrity of, and fuel for, my passion.

Stephen King wrote a memoir once on writing, but what he shared I feel pertains to anything we are passionately engaging in our lives.

He said something to the effect of if you talk about what you’re writing too much, it will diminish your enthusiasm about it. You lose your motivation to actually write it, by talking about it.

I feel this applies to things and projects in general, including talking too much about your plans with things. It diminishes your need to actually follow through, like it’s already been done by energetically discussing it in length and feeling satisfied from that, rather than the actual application of the plans and ideas.

To keep things fresh and in your mind, while retaining motivation to actually “do” the things, you may find it supportive to focus on them within your own experience, without the need to express it out there.

That doesn’t take away from the communicating within yourself, with your spirit guides, and magickal support system, nor does it mean to stop creative visualization, intentions, and things like vision boarding, brainstorming, inner exploration, etc.

It also doesn’t mean that some form of feedback can be helpful with things including hearing ourselves talk about it (although the latter I’ve found to be more effective when I talk it out loud to myself or run through the dialogue and scenarios in my own mind), but then it’s about choosing an effective channel for that that truly is about receiving helpful reflections and food for thought you may not be able to see or come up with because of your current focus, rather than simply about a need to talk as a form of using up your creative spark and energy that is being misdirected.

But there does seem to be something diminishing and extracting about external communicating, especially when in overdrive and as an unrealized self-sabotaging mechanism to avoid actually doing the thing or hiding the fears you have around it that aren’t being addressed.

And there does seem to be something about saving up that excitement like the voluptuous and pregnant Empress in the Tarot, who is fertile with creative abundance, ready to lavish it into streams and channels of focused passion.

So, the next time you have this urge to explain and express all the details of what is moving through you to create, try funneling that urge into the creation itself and you may find your inspiration and flow, not to mention your drive, that much more vital and fresh, and your intuition enhanced by your confidence and trust.
