Waking up to Jack Frost’s sneak appearance heralded an interlude blog post before returning to the shares lined up in my intuitive queue. 😉
I’ve continued to experience strange, but mysteriously beautiful and odd things, as well as powerful messengers, findings, and even dreamscapes – both my own and of me appearing in other people’s dreams they share with me.
Coyote continues to cross my path – she just did again two days ago – I found another Algiz Rune in the forest (below), discovered nearly half of a transitioned female mallard duck, and held space for my dear Cosmo, whose birthday it just was four days ago.
Finding the female mallard came right after seeing mallards swimming in the pond with only one duckling. The others may not have made it, but then seeing the one female dead was like a rebirth cycle right before my eyes.
Bones and transitioned animals always seem to find me amongst other discoveries. It appears to be my role as a bridge to also witness and hold space for the natural cycles. I honor every one I find in their own way, bury, do energy work, and receive the messages.
Finding the female mallard also spoke to my own shifts and rebirthing I feel underway, although the form is unknown as to what will unfold.
The enchanted and mystical sightings of late on hiking trails hold promise that whatever does, will be in divine flow. In these times, having these supportive messages has brought much needed comfort.
There’s a sacred feminine aspect transmuting across the collective. It is this depth I’ve been navigating recently as to its merging with the new.
The winds of change indeed keep blowing and in fact we have Spring snow blanketing everything today. It came in late yesterday and continues on as I write this. We’re at about five or six inches where we are and more up at the mountain tops.
So, yes, just as the blooms begin to pop along the trails here, a Spring snow storm blows in. Continuing in the theme of “expect the unexpected” these beauties you see in all the photos from yesterday, above and below, are under a little snow blanket today that tucked them in last night.
The weather shifted mid-hike yesterday and as we climbed up the trail with full lake view the whole way, we watched as the clouds started to engulf the north end of the lake and edge toward us. On our descent, the warm sunshine turned to brisk wind and clouds.
There were so many beauties starting to emerge, including the very first wild irises, and to think this is just the beginning though is incredible, as there will be so many wildflowers everywhere in all varieties from miniature for only faery eyes to see, to large and center stage for all eyes to gaze upon.
Indeed you know I stop to smell all the flowers and marvel at their beauty. Their time in the sunlight is fleeting so I embrace every moment I have to experience them when I can. You never know what’s coming next and the time you’ll have to enjoy something. “Do it now” is my way of living life fully.
A Spring snow blanket now casts its wand of enchantment everywhere and actually feels so perfect for what I’m experiencing within, as the waves of intensities and softness ebb and flow. Cocooning in reflection and transformative incubation is where I find myself still, so it doesn’t surprise me that Jack Frost is still sneaking about. In fact, I find him comforting.
That’s also mountain life for you, as if you choose to live in the mountains of any region, nature and weather patterns are ever-changing, moment-to-moment. That’s the beauty of why we live here and personally I have found every change to be consistent with my inner world. Perhaps it is for others, too, even if they choose not to embrace it.
But the element of surprising changes is also reflective of the unpredictability of these times and we can either fight or flow with – the latter being more like Mother Earth.
There’s a constant cycling of death and rebirth, mourning and renewal happening, but with everything speeding up, it all seems as though it’s intensified more than usual. I continue to hear of the loss of loved ones, including animal companions, everywhere and even if one is not experiencing these literal physical losses it may come in the form of symbolic transitions within certain areas of our lives or certain aspects of our individuality and human expression.
Many souls are not meant for the new frequencies coming in and others are able to support the new frequencies far better from off-planet. And even their transition itself aids the shifts in motion, as everything carries an energy signature and key codes that are connected to the whole continuum of what is in momentum.
A lot of transitions continue as the Earth collective recalibrates and everyone decides, on a soul level and within their divine contracts, where their role is most useful. If we only identify as human, this can all be confusing and devastating. When we begin to soften our scope into curious exploration of more than just these physical bodies, we start to understand a bigger picture at hand.
We are mourning and celebrating every moment.
Having experienced the worst loss in my life has helped prepare me for every loss that’s come after and helped me transmute them as the gifts, rather than punishments, that they in fact are. That doesn’t mean our human hearts don’t feel pain, but every feeling is a portal to The Great Mystery.
As I ride another wave of complex and contrasting energies, I see that we’re in the doorway of the next Lunar cycle and so everything I’ve been seeing around me and feeling within doesn’t feel out of sorts.
I’ve always been extra connected to Earth and her cycles – in fact since I was young, I’ve actually seen how I’m tied into her expressions including earthquakes and shifting weather patterns. Interestingly, we’ve felt quite a few earthquakes over the last month or so that have taken place on the California side. We live on the Nevada side, but these recent shakes have echoed inner shifts and my own “letting off steam” during processing. We actually had never really ever felt any rocking and rolling while living here in the years now, or previously. And suddenly 4 to 5 rumbles have rolled in closer proximity and I found it reminiscent of years ago when I would have something huge change in my life or an epiphany happen and boom!
But like the blossoms that have emerged, I have in fact felt a softening of the rough edges to collective energies I’m transmuting. I am also taking steps to amp up my energetic boundaries, do some intentional personal spell castings of my own, and getting my hands in another faery kitchen alchemy creation from yesterday’s gorgeous manzanita harvest – the last of the season.
I don’t know what it is about these blossoms, but they really touch my heart and feel like the perfect ingredients needed right now. I managed to harvest eighteen cups this time of the sweetest little faery blossoms that tickle my heart. And as the snow falls today, I’ll be cooking up batches of delight with them.
With a heart full of gratitude, I thank the Elementals of the land for their gifts and blessings. All I want to do these days is immerse in the richness of Earth all around me. Thank goodness for the bounty of nature we live in. There is nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for.
There’s been a plethora of enchanted and mysterious little finds, including a bunch of portals and vortex areas like these:
I’ve definitely been anchoring more into my inner Forest Witch lately.
Finding this incredible giant tree root creating a witchy throne portal full of deep mystery and powerful energy, was just the perfect activation.
This coming Wednesday the 26th ignites the Sagittarius Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse – this Full Moon is also known as the Flower Moon (synchronous to all the wildflowers in bloom right now) and will undoubtedly continue to inspire a plethora of blossoming transformation in our lives.
It’s a time to be explorative and adventurous, add variety – the spice of life to our lives, communicate with clarity, be open to possibilities and options beyond your limited scope, stay open minded in general, release attachments to anything rigid and that blocks you to your wholeness, and embrace the potential for emotional cleansing that leads to renewal.
Full Moons are a time for taking stock of all you DO have to be grateful for and to be extra mindful of all that you complain about day-to-day and moment-to-moment.
How might you refocus that attitude to be more effective in actually funneling energy toward change, rather than constantly spinning a web of negativity and limited perspective? Everything that bothers you holds the alchemy needed to free you.
Look at what needs a little clean up in your life and pluck things out so you can recreate more with conscious intention.
Try to recognize the good in your life and all the blessings around you, including the people around you who despite any perceived shortcomings have their own challenges they face relative to their life path, which we have no idea about since we’re only here living out our own – and may not even really connect the dots to all of that ourselves.
This is a time to reflect and then plant literal and symbolic seeds, then water them with more true, unconditional and compassionate love.
Although we still walk through patches of melting snow and ski upon fresh powdered sugar-laced grounds that surround us here in the high mountain altitudes of the Sierra Nevadas, the sunshine illuminates in warm vernal rays, the skies have begun to moisten the forests with cleansing rains mixed with whispers of Jack Frost’s lingering goodbyes, and the Earth is singing in green bursts of celebration.
There are still the morning dawns of ice diamonds upon branches, brisk chills in the Zephyr winds, and snow tracks from burrow to burrow of the snowshoe rabbits turned white. Yet muddy trails emerge for hopeful feet to journey upon lotus promised grounds.
“If there comes a little thaw,
Still the air is chill and raw,
Here and there a patch of snow,
Dirtier than the ground below,
Dribbles down a marshy flood;
Ankle-deep you stick in mud
In the meadows while you sing,
“This is Spring.”
~Christopher Pearce Cranch, A Spring Growl
As we step through the potent Spring Equinox Gateway, I am reminded that Nature reflects to us how to navigate the inner realms by way of surveying Her landscape as our own spiritual terrain.
Ostara is the Goddess of Spring who nurtures the innately rich land and keeps a loving eye on all the sprouting new life emerging from Winter’s blanket. This time of awakening from quiet preparation gets stirred by her fertile spell into inspired action.
She illuminates opportunity and the dawning of a new cycle, where possibility stirs in every new bud of life.
The sensual, soft, and magnetic aspects to the sacred feminine she embodies, also carry powerful creative forces like no other that can give and take away life through birth and rebirth.
This is the access point to the field of potential within the vortex of your heart.
There are many symbols that represent the generative powers of Spring – some of my favorite including the rabbit or hare, butterflies, blossoms, and The Cosmic Egg.
For Winter Solstice I was called to share with your heart, a visual spell from the essence of my spirit and once again I drop into the well of my heart’s depth to bring forth another of my spirit’s emanation. The creative energy of my signature frequency heeds the call to express herself as a form of transformative regeneration to join with the collective’s intentions to create a New Earth experience.
Through our creative energy, we each weave a thread of activation that unites the collective tapestry.
We each embody an energy signature and archetype by birth. My own, from onset of Earthly emergence this life, carries the numerology of the number three when my birthday is broken down simplistically. This is the energy signature of The Empress in Tarot ~ creative abundance and manifestation, unlimited fertile possibility, harmony, love, Earth Mother nurturing and growth, creating beauty, sensual comfort, stability, birthing of new beginnings that constantly recreate themselves, and wholeness from bigger picture Cosmos to smallest Earthly detail.
Synchronously, the qualities of Ostara are found in The Empress. And so it is no wonder I walk this Earth with a rabbit familiar and rabbits have been my soul companions for years – my first appearing when I was twelve years old. It’s also no coincidence that when I first, very consciously, began my spiritual journey and asked to receive the symbol of my life’s work, it came to me as the butterfly.
And ever since each of these first appearances in my life, both have been prolific in presence and uncanny experiences, not to mention have shown up in consistent, guiding ways.
So, when I received the message that I would be sharing another visual spell for this seasonal turn of the Wheel, it became clear I was to embody my birth essence in honor of Ostara and Spring.
My Venus in Aquarius has been speaking very loudly these days and partnered with my inner Empress, the creative expressions you see here are my answer to the Spring nudges, carrying a specific encoded message from heart to heart.
While Astrid would have lovingly danced with me, I decided to let her rest and support me from the comfort of her castle tower overlooking things from her dream state, as she’s already bravely taken on so much this Winter with our journeys. She instead helped choose the pieces to accompany me, including a golden rabbit as her stand-in.
I hope you enjoy this creative expression from my thread of the tapestry and here’s a Spring Equinox Prayer and Ostara Poem to accompany the journey as you flutter softly through our transitioning forest and garden here with me:
The dancing hare foretells the spring,
With fertility and new life this time does bring,
Gay Eostre dances on the earth,
As seeds and flowers come to birth.
Tulips and daffodils come into bloom,
And life sprouts from the Mother Earth’s womb,
Birds lay their eggs now and the light is growing,
Catkins and blossoms on the leaves are showing.
The sun reaches forth with his hand,
To the Maiden of flowers returns to the land,
Their dance brings new balance into our life,
Planting the seeds to overcome strife.
We grow with the flowers and the trees,
Winters gloom banished on a spring breeze.
The joy of new birth enters our hearts,
As we look forward to Beltane’s love.
May this portal of renewal activate your own rebirthing of creative expression, abundant potential, and harmonious, inspired action.
It’s no surprise to me that today’s share from Astrid falls on this incredible Solstice line-up to include a Cancer Full Moon and Ursid meteor shower. Rabbits have long been associated with the Moon and, in fact, many ancient stories tell of the rabbit on the Moon that you can actually see when She’s at her fullest. I find it fascinating how on this longest night of the year that we’ll have incredible illumination and cosmic alignments galore, as the Full Moon will peak tomorrow morning of the 22nd AND tonight we are also going to be able to see Mercury and Jupiter in conjunction within this Yule’s Long Night’s Moon sky to add to those shooting stars.
Winter Solstice celebrations of the first day of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere means Summer Solstice celebrations for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere. Again, a very cool link for Astrid, as she came home with me on Summer Solstice – a day shared by the transition of my beloved rabbit, Joy.
And Winter Solstice, two years ago, was a day my sweet rabbit, Cosmo, had chosen for some of his ashes to be spread here in Lake Tahoe.
So, I’m seeing a lot of wholeness around this, which makes sense as the Winter Solstice embodies the energy of conclusion along with a time for rest, self-reflection, self-care, and “being the light” – something rabbits are very adept at in being masterful navigators of the dark.
I’ve noticed Astrid spending extra time in her castle tunnels lately, as she demonstrates this time to cozy up and journey the inner labyrinths of our emotions, beliefs, fears, and patterns so we can make adjustments for bringing in and embodying the new and potentials we envision and feel calling to our hearts.
“There is value in journeying the depths of your heart,” she says.
The seasons remind you of the ever-shifting and flowing cycles of life, change, and potential to honor and make space for. Winter Solstice reminds you of the light that you are, as a gateway of sacred reverence for a “return to light” in general.
Astrid reminds you that your 3D circumstances and stories do not define you. She encourages you to open your heart more and be willing to take up more space while beaming out the glow of who you really are.
“If I relinquished to simply being seen as a little, round ball of bunny fluff I would never know the true and full power of my inner rabbit. Looks can be deceiving, but if you believe in that limited illusion then you won’t experience the full spectrum embodied in the coin of being. Remember there are two sides to it, but you’re not limited to one or the other. There is simply the coin that can flip in and out of experiences at will, never being less of the whole at any time,” she says.
So, as the holiday season flashes through with a flurry of hustle and bustle, Astrid wants you to tune into your inner rabbit and honor your needs with some extra nurturing during a time when you are feeling tugged to do more outside of yourself. This will create balance and help you to find that peaceful center amidst everything around you. It also helps you to anchor more into your wholeness and all of the potentials available for how you experience things and are experienced, yourself, by others.
The Full Moon feels at home in Cancer and this lends to the ability to do some beautiful movement on the inner landscape that can help you make those bunny leaps into the New Year. An opportune time for embracing your feelings, allowing healthy emotional release, communicating from the heart, and experience a cleansing and freeing up of space, as you are supported in shedding light on the dark crevices within.
I know how Astrid and I will be spending this cozying up Cancer Full Moontime, as I return to one of my most beloved childhood stories – Watership Down – this weekend.
Astrid’s eyes get bigger and she sits up to nudge my ankle, as I write this.
I read the novel in 6th grade as part of our curriculum and was transformed by it, falling in love with the rabbits and the movie, as well. It has long been a favorite for me so when my sweet friend, Kelly, told me it was coming out again, the little girl inside of me was over-the-Moon excited. I keep mentioning it every day, actually, and it’s finally almost here.
Originally set for release on the 25th/Christmas, Watership Down is a new BBC series starting the 22nd and will hit Netflix on the 23rd in two feature-length episodes.
I feel its message is quite fitting for these times and its release is quite aligned with things unfolding in my new world.
Before I conclude with a dream Astrid wants me to share, she also reminds me of all of the sightings and alignments that have recently been taking place here. She wants me to mention these, as a way for others to also recognize the constant messaging reflected to us even when we think we are alone and not receiving answers. And also because she knows our experiences are collectively connected, like a warren, and there may be something ignited by these reminders.
“Nature is especially supportive to your journey,” Astrid shares, “as She mirrors with raw reflection the answers you search for and in some cases for many of you, yearn for.”
Lately, I’ve had a lot more different wildlife sightings than usual. For the first time, recently on Thanksgiving, we’d seen a raccoon just across and down from our house and yesterday I saw another – this time one that had been hit by a car on the side of the road. We haven’t seen raccoons in all of the years we’ve lived here so both of these feel significant, including the full life cycling as well, as we approach the end of the year and this longest night before days expand.
Coyotes have been on ultra high around our house, too. Several individuals have crossed the street in front of our car as we turn the curve at the Sherwood sign recently (I always say we live at the edge of the Sherwood Forest). And two large coyotes that looked like wolves went right by the edge of our back deck one night, as if circling the perimeter of our home.
Then, of course, the four deer at our back deck and side yard on 11/11 for our first sighting at this house.
But yesterday, along with the transitioned raccoon, I also saw bald eagle for the first time in months and a cool sighting of wild mustangs.
This all took place on a day I decided to forego my usual schedule and go down to Reno instead, feeling called to shift things. I was contemplating the change and how it felt aligned with my feelings, guidance, and going much deeper into my work after setting things up to nurture that.
As I began my drive suddenly bald eagle appeared confirming what I was affirming in my mind and heart. She soared toward me and above, following the lake’s shoreline, as I was. I could see her white head clearly, guiding her dark, massive body across the sky. She heralds taking to flight, greater personal freedom, and going further with courageous steps, as she can see ahead the possibilities and renewal even if I can’t.
And in the valley below, I saw wild mustangs for the third time now, but rather than them grazing near Washoe Lake, they were in a single-filed line wading through the lake at hip level, which was a beautiful sight to see.
A lot of feeling confirmations and moving through the watery energies of this Cancer Moon reflected – all connected with inner trust and being willing to examine what is moving through.
A raw, freeing energy seems embodied in all of the sightings – even with the sad physical death sighting of the raccoon.
I definitely have been feeling nudges with several things and the need to make the next moves and changes. Driving always is meditative in this regard, where I solidify answers and confirm my intentions.
Astrid is always on my mind when I drive and I smile in my heart with each sighting, knowing she is experiencing it with me where ever I am.
Later yesterday evening I was messaged by a friend and artisan that I’d commissioned back at the beginning of September to create a special piece for me connected to my projects as a way of manifesting the visions. There had been no rush, as I believe in perfect unfolding and wow, was it ever.
She sent me photos of the creation she was making for me and said it would be done that night and sent out the next day – and it was!
Of course, this was magickal with its birthing happening for the Solstice and Full Moon. Not just because of the timing, but because of even the details of the creation that were so fitting – some of which she did through her own inspiration of my energetic description.
This piece happens to be a cosmic dragon, that embodies the essence of the Cosmos. She is of Aurora Borealis coloring, star-dusted, and golden star encrusted, holding a silver crescent Moon up with her tail – that has planets embedded along the spine in cosmic alignment. And upon the Moon sits a little white rabbit, while another rabbit sits on the back of the dragon reaching up in sacred connection with it.
Talk about synchronicity with the Solstice Full Moon, Meteor Shower, and Mercury and Jupiter conjunction.
Oh, how the Universe works in mystical and magickal ways.
Astrid is smiling hugely as I share all of this and she had made her way to me when I was receiving this news and the photos to ensure I knew her magickal part in all of it. 🙂
She now asks me to add the dream.
So, just two nights ago Astrid appeared in my dream landscape. She’s been hopping in lately even if I don’t always share about it. But this one was potent with its timing and so I’m not surprised she wants me to share it.
In the dream Astrid was with me and we came upon a place the Earth was opening up below us. A deep hole, jagged with rocks appeared and suddenly Astrid went hurdling down it. I couldn’t see how it happened, but there was a deliberate energy around it. I peered down and saw her laying on the ground. I was so worried she was hurt or worse, but she stands up and brushes herself off. She takes a moment working out her legs and such, shaking it off, and seems to be okay after wiggling her body back.
I contemplate how I will get her when suddenly creatures of inner Earth start to approach. First as shadows and then closing in on her from the left. They are almost like wolves, but something more.
I can hear her in my heart and know she’s about to take off, and she does. She darts off to the right down one of the tunnels and the creatures follow.
I hear the invitation and know I must journey into inner Earth and her womb to follow her. In my mind, to save her, but I gather Astrid intends much more than that.
She seems not afraid or worried that they will catch her, but I’m not as certain – my mothering instincts setting in to protect her.
But I also feel the call of the adventure, and Astrid is asking of me much more than simply to save her…she wants me to join her on the journey.
I, and she, know I have no choice because love guides me above all else, and gives me the courage.
Two dear and powerful shamanic friends of mine show up as if they know of this expedition already and come with tools of their gifts to join the mission in this underground system of warren tunnels within Earth’s core.
So the three of us devoted women head off together, down the rabbit hole.
Wishing you all a peace-filled Solstice journey into the light of your heart.
This is a fun full circle story… I’ve been experiencing a LOT of full circle things recently, but this was interesting. This Ice Quartz (with major rainbows inside you can’t see here) pictured in the water, was one that I had back when living in Orange County, CA. I loved it so much, but it disappeared immediately after having it for like only a day or two. I was sad, but figured there was meaning and embraced letting it go.
Well, it showed up about 2+ years later.
The friends of ours that were renting our place are selling the washer and dryer they got from us because in Austin, TX (where they now have moved to) they only do electric dryers, not gas, and the machines didn’t fit in their new house anyway. My friend texted me a photo last week asking if this crystal was mine.
I immediately knew it was that crystal and was so surprised.
They found it in the rubber ring around the washer. I guess it must have been in a pocket of mine and stuck there when I washed clothes. It’s been there ever since.
And for whatever reason they thought to look and there it was before selling the machines off.
She sent it to me and it arrived just yesterday in time for the Full Moon.
This is it in Lake Tahoe’s crystalline waters receiving a recharge in the sun and liquid love. When it went in the water I noticed the time was exactly 4:44 and immediately after I turned around and behind me where I was this lovely goose feather was sitting.
Lots of angelic support and good vibes activating!
This crystal has gone through many cycles of cleansing, hehe!!!
And has been on quite the adventure, like me!
Now we are reunited at a beautiful and synchronous time of change and new creations unfolding.
Peace and harmony to you on this beautiful Spring Equinox portal. Where ever you are I hope you can take some time to tune in and anchor in your own “change of seasons” with some reflection on where you are on your journey, envisioning what you would like to be creating as your path continues to unfold, and honing in on what actions you can take to put it all into renewing motion. I was just thinking about the last few years and where I was on Spring Equinox…last year in the Grand Canyon on our Magick Bus adventure, the year before on the island of Amantani in Lake Titicaca for our sacred journey to Peru I organized, and the year before hosting the Reiki Renewal Retreat in Laguna Beach, CA. And now, sitting above Lake Tahoe in our treehouse in Nevada engaging in what I feel to be my life’s work come full circle.
My how things shift and yesterday and this morning I’ve been reflecting on where I’m headed and how much has changed to get to this more anchored place I feel to be in with solid direction and fullest embodiment of what’s in my heart.
This photo is from last year’s RV adventure in the Magick Bus while exploring my favorite Glacier National Park. I love the hint of double rainbow that shows up in the clouds above and the hawk flying in the blue area of the sky that wanted to be captured in this image too.
This photo not only embodies the essence of today to me, but anchors in the visions I’m supporting from the guidance channeling through and my own intentions and dream visions unfolding.
I hope it ignites a spark of inspiration for you too.
Renewal is yours if you are willing to lovingly close doors, take action, and open to receiving new portals of experience because you’re worth it as an embodiment of All That Is.
Everything to me right now feels like we’re planting our own spirit gardens and it’s incredibly liberating and enjoyable to choose the seeds we want to see blossom and learn what each needs to be cultivated and nurtured into fruition. All the while knowing you are Spirit in motion of being and everything you do is a merging of this.
And if you don’t yet know what you want to be growing in your garden, this is a wonderful and revealing time to receive revelations and inspiration that uncover the seeds of your spirit’s truest calling.
Words that come to mind are surrender, balance, harmony, integrity, trust, and renewal.
I shared this message, below, before around the same time of year, but it still feels to be the theme and so I’ll reshare it again.
Things you might ask yourself in line with the words above are:
In what areas of your life can you surrender and stop trying to do and control it all? What can you let go of to make room for allowing and receiving?
How can you maintain your equilibrium, and remain balanced? Are you fortifying your source of energy and learning to shield yourself from all externals that knock you off your axis?
Are you being consistent with the integrity of your life and making it a priority as to your vibrational resonance you embody? Where might you release things, people, and situations that aren’t reflecting the same integrity? Are you ready to invite higher discernment into your life with the choices you make? Are you living authentically in expression of your inner truth and essence or is false ego running the show creating illusions and lack of self love and self worth?
Do you operate solely in your head and forego the knowing in your heart? Are you willing to cultivate more trust in that gut feeling, or are you more happy allowing all of the “stuff” out there to determine the course of your life? Is fear your friend or enemy?
Can you commit to letting go of the old with love, gratitude, and compassionate understanding for the way things have been, but no longer need to be? What are you willing to release in order to have the new experiences you want? Do you talk about things rather than do them?
It all boils down to how seriously you are willing to make different choices and back them up with action. The first step is the most challenging, but it all gets easier from there.
We are just like energetic coils, spiraling through the cycles of our life and able to “spring” back and regenerate ourselves.
You are more resilient than you think.
What you believe and the actions you take in support of those beliefs are shaping your experience and either bucking the natural harmony of your coiled embodiment or flowing gracefully with that spiraling essence.
Asking questions right now feels even more potent than simply sharing inspirational words, as it engages you to partner more in the empowerment you seek.
If you are willing to honestly answer the hard questions, then the next question is, are you willing to take the actions in support of helping you toward different answers you perhaps may seek to experience?
Only you can do the work.
Only you can make the changes….embrace new perspectives…and realize more expansive potentials.
I can’t do it for you and neither can anyone else.
We can only help guide you back to you, if, and only if you are ready to go there.
There is no wrong. There’s only choice and free will.
There is no timing to meet except your own soul’s gauge.
To reclaim your sovereignty you’ll need to reclaim it.
How that looks is up to you.
If you feel you’ve lost your way, yourself, your innocence….you can always choose a different spiral of experience. True, it may take time and it may not be easy, but neither of those are reason to turn a back on yourself for.
Nature has many mirrors for us of challenge and resiliency, of symbolic death and renewal…and yet it goes on as that is the nature of its reality that knows what it is here to do and doesn’t judge it against anything else.
The nature of your reality is that you, too, are powerful beyond measure, are beautiful in all of your seasons of inevitable change, and no matter the roads your journey takes you, you are and always have been an embodied miracle.
The truth of it is, there is no magick.
Magick is simply when you are surrendering to your essence.
Magick is when you express your creative piece of life force energy moving through you.
Magick is simply you being you.
And when you are embodying your essence expression and trusting in the knowing of that beyond all else, everything you touch is a process of alchemy creating alignment, abundance, and grace.
That’s the “magick”. It’s a natural process.
When you aren’t being natural you don’t experience this.
It’s that simple.
From being in the core essence of you, you are then able to branch out into new things from a stable, solid, and sustainable energy source that isn’t being depleted by having to manage frustration, inner torment, or having to support inauthentic, contrived, conditioned, or illusory ideas of you, what you think you should be doing, or how you think you need to look to others.
For myself, I have come to a place of great clarity through letting go of personal stagnation I was feeling, although to the outside world would not have been detected.
This has resulted in cultivating and nurturing those key themes I mentioned at start: surrender, balance, harmony, integrity, trust, and renewal.
It’s come with letting go of EVERYTHING that doesn’t mirror the integrity I’ve become ultra sensitively discerning about.
It’s like a complete update and upgrade, which ultimately is a total renewal.
So, not only is it Spring time for the next quarter cycle of the year, but this whole year feels to be a year of allowing new blossoms to open from the work you’ve done all of these years, while also planting tons of new seeds and working them fully.
A time you can activate more trust and surrender to “knowing” while branching out and following new aspirations or creative directions.
A good time for cleaning out your spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical house literally and symbolically.
A time you can live more from a place of saying “yes” to your inner truth.
And tend to your own inner garden of blossoms, while planting like crazy.
Time to branch out into new areas that aren’t tied to anything but essence embodiment.
This photo is from yesterday.
I was in gratitude of coming full circle to “everything” that ignited here once in Lake Tahoe, NV and was seeded in my soul, now to actually surface through the sands of time within my essence. This unfolding after having followed the threads that tied up all loose ends, integrating, weaving, and retrieving, which helped me understand more fully their reason for being there and how Spirit truly has been designing it in perfect merging of love and mission as One.
All that I/we need to know is in my/our heart(s).
And then it comes down to trusting that.
The answers have always been there. You’ve always received the inner nudges. You/we just hadn’t been taught to listen to, recognize, and support them. Now you can by choosing to do so and it will get stronger the more you do.
Wishing you an invigorating, inspiring, and revealing Spring Equinox.
Today would have been Nestor’s 14th birthday and I still celebrate and honor this powerful soul even though she left her Earthly body almost 9 years ago. She has seen to it that others of our soul family have found their way to me and me to them, constantly watches over and guides me, cares for my human self when she feels deeply, sends me messages and signs, supports me with my path and life’s work, and fuels my heart with love and devoted compassion and passion.
Oh the stories I could share that would seem incredulous.
What a magickal day she shares on this celebration of Imbolc.
So many wonderful messages have come through from her and our beloved friends recently and especially between yesterday and today.
Feeling her so much and grateful for her continued support in my life.
Where there is love there is no separation.
I am with her now, as I always have been.
Although we moved out of our house in Orange County and into the Magick Bus in early October of last year and did a couple of small trips, we didn’t officially begin the grand adventure until one year ago to this very day. As I look back on this past year, although doesn’t seem like a very long time, I’m in awe of how much energy we moved and how transformed my entire life – I am – is since then because of that choice. It feels like lifetimes of experiences took place, and in actuality they did, not to mention a full, literal rebirthing.
It is one of the best and most profoundly shifting choices made in my life and completely supported hitting the much needed reset button for my path.
When I reflect upon my life, I can easily pinpoint the pivotal choices and time periods that changed everything in big ways, and this is definitely one of them…in some ways, may be the game-changer in my world finally bringing me to the place I always believed and never lost hope of all the years of my life since a child, knowing it wasn’t until my later years -forties – that I’d truly return to myself and receive the benefit of all the committed work I focused on in a life of growing up very fast.
Only now to return to the innocence of the inner child that I devoted myself to preserving and freeing fully, which took on a lifetime of maturing quickly and inviting in lifetimes of integrating and traveling through the darkness.
It’s empowering to reflect back and recognize the growth and change you have made. To see how it all makes sense even though at the time it made none at all.
I recently have gifted myself many symbolic and tangible things in celebration and have fully embraced self nurturing like never before. I have felt it to be like a birthday celebration every day, which seeing my birthday 2/26…2:26…226 showing up constantly over the last year has reiterated, as a reflective message from All That Is resetting the button cosmically.
And yesterday, when I saw 2:26 again, after all that has taken place these last few days and weeks, it felt not only like a personal renewal, but one collectively, as so much is shifting for us all, even if you can’t see it yet.
We are even currently experiencing that very wet and cold winter I, and others, had felt would be coming…with flowing abundance of water for many areas that have been in need here in the West.
Tons of rain and snow fall abound and it is like a huge cleansing, refresh, reminder, and like healing tears asking of us to remember these watery depths that are needed as a part of the journey and in knowing your wholeness and to have reverence for the journey.
Great creative potential and fertility comes in the embrace of feeling and emotion, in being willing to walk hand-in-hand with our shadow, welcoming change, and being flexible and mutable with our thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and actions so we can fluidly align with harmonic resonance.
Where ever you are right now, allow yourself to be more gentle and loving with all of it….to flow, to free yourself a little bit more, be more fluid, reward and enjoy life, reflect on those things knocking at your heart, love where you are, find ways to not judge or compare, and embrace the energy before you. Things are not always what they seem.
I know for myself that I have a ton of creative projects to manifest, and yet embracing the flow of energy has been most conducive to how these will not only come to be, what has been needed to keep shaping them, but is aligning with the ebbs and flows of collective energy…the pulling back of the rubber band at the right moment so that when released they shoot with great force, momentum, and focus….
For example, I’m now on my third revision of my book so far and I haven’t even finished it yet. I love how when you honor stepping away, there’s always a reason that presents itself…and each time it’s continued to infuse a whole new layer to the inspiration channeling through – reflective of more that I open up to as well.
I am not even in editing mode, I’m just being guided to rework the layers of myself, experiences, energies, collective at large into a renewed version of what that is in the now channeling through without frustration or questioning.
It’s become much more than originally started as and I love that too, as I’ve never had any attachment whatsoever to what was coming through or how it had to be.
I never even knew/know the story until it channels through.
I never edit, just write…I never judge it….just express it.
These revisions remind me of how I paint with layers over layers and the person viewing the painting will never know what is infused literally under the surface of the painting image they see, but they will feel it.
It’s also like music and sound channeling, where layers get harmonized together.
And with each expression of art, there is intention, energy, experience, feeling….that weaves into those layers too.
I’ve been in my joy with this and that is the only thing that matters. And I couldn’t be in that place of experience without everything I’ve experienced, the processes, the learning, the growth, and the choices made and honored.
I encourage everyone to find that passion you can just be you with and flow passionately with, without any attachments, judgment, boundaries, and goals except simply to express yourself and what you can’t not share because it is your breath of life.
And don’t lose hope, as the miracles often happen just when you thought there was nothing left to hope for.
I remember just before the Magick Bus came into our lives, I experienced a year of feeling and knowing the endings in all ways very profoundly and that completion translated as a choice in how I wanted to reset…and at the time without vision of what I see now, it felt like a cosmic return was in order. So I allowed myself to go to the depths of those feelings, mourning, explorations in depth, and found one answer in it all that could mean renewal here on Earth.
It meant letting go of everything I’ve known and been, taking a leap of faith, and being willing to face a new adventure of discovery from a completely fresh slate no longer tied to all that was (this life and beyond).
I was willing to take that leap and chance, to see what I could conjure up in the process of relaxing into creating a new relationship with nature and the nature of me.
And that choice led to here with a plethora of inspiration and knowing there are still yet some things I feel passionately compelled to bring forth while here. And they mirror my heart alone.
So I’ve risen to the occasion of creative power to not only create anything I want, but to recreate a new reality of experience at large. Something available to us all.
“Like water, be gentle and strong. Be gentle enough to follow the natural paths of the earth, and strong enough to rise up and reshape the world.” ~Brenda Peterson
The amphibious and metamorphic essence of frog is one that feels very close to me of recent. And it’s no wonder I’ve seen so many frogs along our travels, like this one, since Nature reflects to us our mirror. Frogs are strongly connected to the water element and since fluidity has become the journey more than ever, I’m seeing how their essence in so many ways does in fact partner in the flow. They are truly magickal creatures that speak of renewal, purity, cleansing, healing, transitions, abundance, creative fertility, and opportunities abound.
Indeed their ancient wisdom helps foster new perspectives and assists us to leap or swim swiftly from one level of consciousness to another – from this world to the Otherworlds. Frogs help us to experience the Great Mystery with ease and swim in Moon Magick and all of her gifts of the Sacred Feminine.
And how perfectly fitting frog is with our upcoming Full Moon in Aries this Sunday the 16th, which is a Super Moon heralding a real lively burst of energy available to harness and that partners these Sacred energies in a productively beautiful dance.
Frogs help us to find courage in accepting new ideas, to foster a sense of self-nurturing, and to discover connections between ideas. And like this Full Moon’s energy, they align with this being the time NOW to focus on healing and freeing yourself from pain and suffering by cleansing all toxicity from your life (people, habits, things, ideas, etc.) that’s impinging on your freedom and both hurting and holding you back.
Both Aries and frogs are about exciting opportunities being presented and your ability to act now and get things done you’ve been wanting to or procrastinating.
Any projects been knocking at your door?
Hop to it!
You’ll be supported with ease.
When a frog jumps into your life it may be indicative of the opportunities that can be discovered in the now of your transition. And this Moon energy will help to positively get those underway.
The frog has a unique growth cycle and undergoes some incredible transformations in its progression and attainment of full adulthood, just as we humans do. Hence, frog understands what it feels like to endure some serious growing pains, and uncomfortable and even yucky feelings, along that transition.
Their ability to lay enormous amounts of eggs lends to their fertility symbolism as well as being synonymous with abundance.
Frog’s medicine reminds us of our ties and bonds with all life, help us to understand our emotions more deeply, support healing transformations and cleansing rebirth, and activate the remembrance of our ancient origins of cosmic watery essence.
Aries is also the initiator of beginnings and partnered with our sound healing friend the frog, remind us of our song that ignites our essence into wholeness.
Golden rays of illumination breathe into me.
The lingering aroma of pine giants merge as the scent of my soul.
Alpine majesties of Earth’s love reaching for greater heights guide my journey with stability.
Crystalline waters of liquid alchemy wash over and through me.
There is harmony here in the mystery of your depths.
Your fertile meadows are the fields of potential.
Enchanting spirits of the elements join me in jubilee of this return.
Here I retrieve and remember the parts of me I never lost.
Where this leads I do not care.
Where I am is all that I know.
Yesterday, our last day in Escalante, ended with a beautiful six mile roundtrip hike to Calf Creek Falls – the 126 feet high lower falls.
This is an incredibly beautiful hike that has 14 interpretive stops along the way, leading you to the cool, shady haven of the falls.
It follows Calf Creek the entire way, meanders over cliffs and through canyons, which at this time of the year was full of beautiful purple blossoms and purple cactus that almost looked painted at times with splashes of yellow.
The area is also home to the North American Beaver, so we did see evidence of dams and lodges.
Above the canyon ledges were several granaries built by the ancient Fremont Culture that inhabited Utah from AD 700 to AD 1300.
There were also incredible painted figures at the bottom of one of the smooth cliffs. These are three large figures done in red pigment and have a trapezoidal shape (hard to fully see them in the photo, as it is across the canyon, but which also shares how large they are). The three figures are typical Fremont-style rock art with elaborate head dresses and seem to be holding hands together. Only speculative ideas on their meaning are available – religious ceremonies, deities, lineages, information, maps, or even warnings.
Interestingly we saw our only snake of our trips so far, on this hike.
Not sure of the type, but was not a rattlesnake and likely not poisonous, but it slithered quickly across the our path ahead and into the brush quickly, then made its way out from the brush back toward us and hid under a rock.
It moved quickly and seemed to time its appearance with us in order to see it, but then quickly disappeared back to the shadows.
Snake medicine is powerful and last night I also dreamed of black panther that kept coming at me….so a lot of shamanic and deep shadow, mysticism, and cosmic energies abound. Still making sense of all of the messages.
There was much lush vegetation in this wetlands habitat due to the creek, which makes it an ideal home for many animals, bird varieties, reptiles, fish, and plant life.
It was much colder near the falls that are set back in the shady canyon. Scarlet monkey flower, maiden -hair fern, and Easter flower are said to bloom near the seeps in the cliff walls here at certain times of the year.
We started our day with lunch at Kiva Koffeehouse, which is a unique and secluded spot outside of the main town of Escalante on the way to our hike.
It sits atop a hill with great views all around. And to our delight, which I had called ahead to make sure of, they had a couple of yummy vegan options including a vegan fire roasted corn and potato soup and veggie sandwiches with carrot salad, fruit, home made vegan bread and hummus on the side.
Even their hot drinks like lattes, mochas, and hot chocolates all had vegan options with choice of almond, oat or soy milk… So I enjoyed a chai latte with lunch, warming up from a cold morning that was just finishing off from rain all night and first part of the day.
We have lucked out with everything, including weather, as the rain started the day before, but had only sprinkled during our time at the petrified forest, which made the wood vibrant for us. Then rained hard again after and all night and morning.
But it didn’t rain once while we were on this hike and the sky in fact opened to lovely blue skies.
We talked to others coming back from the falls, as we were heading to them, saying that it actually was freezing and hailing at the falls when they were there right before us.
We didn’t experience any of this, but the sky did darken and gray once again when we finished the hike and made our way home, although did not rain again and today the sun is shining.
I love the image of this portal in the sky and glowing rain off in the distance, as we drove back last evening.
Another door has opened for us from our time spent here in Escalante and all that has been received.
And from the snake and black panther medicine, something big seems to be initiating and needing my embrace in a bigger way again.
I wonder what will be next as we continue our journey with three more Utah National Parks, heading off to Capitol Reef today.
