Singing Plants at Damanhur

I love enchantment and synchronicity! I’m reblogging miss Laura Bruno’s post here, as it reminded me again of the amazing Temples of Humankind that are in Damanhur and this magickal place I do hope to visit one day. I did a short post on these amazing temples and yes, synchronously this “Singing Plants at Damanhur” video a while back, but felt with Laura’s post that a resurgence of this “piece of enchantment” could use a comeback. Laura adds a wonderful article alongside the video, offering scientific validations (something that is increasingly happening as the world awakens). I hope you enjoy exploring the Temples (at the link below) and listening to the Music of Nature. One more validation that all of creation is alive, valuable, connected, and worthy of our honor and compassion.

For an excellent article regarding the science behind this video, as well as scientific proof that tree hugging is now scientifically validated, please click here. The video accompanied the article, but the article itself is great!

Pieces of Enchantment – Damanhur and Beyond

Ever since years ago, I heard about and researched the Temples of Humankind built by the Damanhur Federation that lie deep inside of a mountain in northern Italy – a Universal Temple for the ages that’s been called the Eighth Wonder of the World and the First Wonder of the New World by others – I have been drawn to visit it. If you haven’t heard about them or seen them, here is a link for more information: http://www.thetemples.org/.  It’s one of those places that reminds us of our sacred connection and the sacredness of life and creative expression.

“Damanhur, is an eco-society based on ethical and spiritual values, awarded by an agency of the United Nations as a model for a sustainable future.

Founded in 1975, the Federation has about 1,000 citizens and extends over 500 hectares of territory throughout Valchiusella and the Alto Canavese area, at the foothills of the Piedmont Alps.

Damanhur offers courses and events all year round, and it is possible to visit for short periods as well as longer stays for study, vacation or regeneration.

Damanhur promotes a culture of peace and equitable development through solidarity, volunteerism, respect for the environment, art, and social and political engagements.” damanhur.org

Here is a very cool video of  the Singing Plants in the Sacred Forests of Damanhur – So Enchanting! Yes, Magic is all around us!
