Springing Into Fuller Embodiment ~ Spring Equinox Portal of Possibilities

Peace and harmony to you on this beautiful Spring Equinox portal. Where ever you are I hope you can take some time to tune in and anchor in your own “change of seasons” with some reflection on where you are on your journey, envisioning what you would like to be creating as your path continues to unfold, and honing in on what actions you can take to put it all into renewing motion. I was just thinking about the last few years and where I was on Spring Equinox…last year in the Grand Canyon on our Magick Bus adventure, the year before on the island of Amantani in Lake Titicaca for our sacred journey to Peru I organized, and the year before hosting the Reiki Renewal Retreat in Laguna Beach, CA. And now, sitting above Lake Tahoe in our treehouse in Nevada engaging in what I feel to be my life’s work come full circle.

My how things shift and yesterday and this morning I’ve been reflecting on where I’m headed and how much has changed to get to this more anchored place I feel to be in with solid direction and fullest embodiment of what’s in my heart.

glacier national park.jpg

This photo is from last year’s RV adventure in the Magick Bus while exploring my favorite Glacier National Park. I love the hint of double rainbow that shows up in the clouds above and the hawk flying in the blue area of the sky that wanted to be captured in this image too.

This photo not only embodies the essence of today to me, but anchors in the visions I’m supporting from the guidance channeling through and my own intentions and dream visions unfolding.

I hope it ignites a spark of inspiration for you too.

Renewal is yours if you are willing to lovingly close doors, take action, and open to receiving new portals of experience because you’re worth it as an embodiment of All That Is.

Everything to me right now feels like we’re planting our own spirit gardens and it’s incredibly liberating and enjoyable to choose the seeds we want to see blossom and learn what each needs to be cultivated and nurtured into fruition. All the while knowing you are Spirit in motion of being and everything you do is a merging of this.

And if you don’t yet know what you want to be growing in your garden, this is a wonderful and revealing time to receive revelations and inspiration that uncover the seeds of your spirit’s truest calling.

Words that come to mind are surrender, balance, harmony, integrity, trust, and renewal.

I shared this message, below, before around the same time of year, but it still feels to be the theme and so I’ll reshare it again.

Things you might ask yourself in line with the words above are:

In what areas of your life can you surrender and stop trying to do and control it all? What can you let go of to make room for allowing and receiving?

How can you maintain your equilibrium, and remain balanced? Are you fortifying your source of energy and learning to shield yourself from all externals that knock you off your axis?

Are you being consistent with the integrity of your life and making it a priority as to your vibrational resonance you embody? Where might you release things, people, and situations that aren’t reflecting the same integrity? Are you ready to invite higher discernment into your life with the choices you make? Are you living authentically in expression of your inner truth and essence or is false ego running the show creating illusions and lack of self love and self worth?

Do you operate solely in your head and forego the knowing in your heart? Are you willing to cultivate more trust in that gut feeling, or are you more happy allowing all of the “stuff” out there to determine the course of your life? Is fear your friend or enemy?

Can you commit to letting go of the old with love, gratitude, and compassionate understanding for the way things have been, but no longer need to be? What are you willing to release in order to have the new experiences you want? Do you talk about things rather than do them?

It all boils down to how seriously you are willing to make different choices and back them up with action. The first step is the most challenging, but it all gets easier from there.

We are just like energetic coils, spiraling through the cycles of our life and able to “spring” back and regenerate ourselves.

You are more resilient than you think.

What you believe and the actions you take in support of those beliefs are shaping your experience and either bucking the natural harmony of your coiled embodiment or flowing gracefully with that spiraling essence.

Asking questions right now feels even more potent than simply sharing inspirational words, as it engages you to partner more in the empowerment you seek.

If you are willing to honestly answer the hard questions, then the next question is, are you willing to take the actions in support of helping you toward different answers you perhaps may seek to experience?

Only you can do the work.

Only you can make the changes….embrace new perspectives…and realize more expansive potentials.

I can’t do it for you and neither can anyone else.

We can only help guide you back to you, if, and only if you are ready to go there.

There is no wrong. There’s only choice and free will.

There is no timing to meet except your own soul’s gauge.

To reclaim your sovereignty you’ll need to reclaim it.

How that looks is up to you.

If you feel you’ve lost your way, yourself, your innocence….you can always choose a different spiral of experience. True, it may take time and it may not be easy, but neither of those are reason to turn a back on yourself for.

Nature has many mirrors for us of challenge and resiliency, of symbolic death and renewal…and yet it goes on as that is the nature of its reality that knows what it is here to do and doesn’t judge it against anything else.

The nature of your reality is that you, too, are powerful beyond measure, are beautiful in all of your seasons of inevitable change, and no matter the roads your journey takes you, you are and always have been an embodied miracle.

The truth of it is, there is no magick.

Magick is simply when you are surrendering to your essence.

Magick is when you express your creative piece of life force energy moving through you.

Magick is simply you being you.

And when you are embodying your essence expression and trusting in the knowing of that beyond all else, everything you touch is a process of alchemy creating alignment, abundance, and grace.

That’s the “magick”. It’s a natural process.

When you aren’t being natural you don’t experience this.

It’s that simple.

From being in the core essence of you, you are then able to branch out into new things from a stable, solid, and sustainable energy source that isn’t being depleted by having to manage frustration, inner torment, or having to support inauthentic, contrived, conditioned, or illusory ideas of you, what you think you should be doing, or how you think you need to look to others.

For myself, I have come to a place of great clarity through letting go of personal stagnation I was feeling, although to the outside world would not have been detected.

This has resulted in cultivating and nurturing those key themes I mentioned at start: surrender, balance, harmony, integrity, trust, and renewal.

It’s come with letting go of EVERYTHING that doesn’t mirror the integrity I’ve become ultra sensitively discerning about.

It’s like a complete update and upgrade, which ultimately is a total renewal.

So, not only is it Spring time for the next quarter cycle of the year, but this whole year feels to be a year of allowing new blossoms to open from the work you’ve done all of these years, while also planting tons of new seeds and working them fully.

A time you can activate more trust and surrender to “knowing” while branching out and following new aspirations or creative directions.

A good time for cleaning out your spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical house literally and symbolically.

A time you can live more from a place of saying “yes” to your inner truth.

And tend to your own inner garden of blossoms, while planting like crazy.

Time to branch out into new areas that aren’t tied to anything but essence embodiment.

lake tahoe reflections

This photo is from yesterday.

I was in gratitude of coming full circle to “everything” that ignited here once in Lake Tahoe, NV and was seeded in my soul, now to actually surface through the sands of time within my essence. This unfolding after having followed the threads that tied up all loose ends, integrating, weaving, and retrieving, which helped me understand more fully their reason for being there and how Spirit truly has been designing it in perfect merging of love and mission as One.

All that I/we need to know is in my/our heart(s).

And then it comes down to trusting that.

The answers have always been there. You’ve always received the inner nudges. You/we just hadn’t been taught to listen to, recognize, and support them. Now you can by choosing to do so and it will get stronger the more you do.

Wishing you an invigorating, inspiring, and revealing Spring Equinox.

Nature’s Breath ~ The Space Between Worlds

As we approach Spring Equinox, I felt a simple sound channeling wanting to come through that felt to reflect this shift from one season to another, from experience to experience, of releasing the old to step into the new, and that stirring of a seed within the dark, nurturing womb reaching through the dirt to touch its tendrils to the light. This is about the moments in between and the deliberate presence of breath during the transmutation….until the last moment. Much love to all.

“Springing” Back Into Your Essence & Branching Out

20160331_193753_resized

While it may be Spring, there are pockets of areas, like where we are, that are experiencing a slower transition from Winter, with snow still making an appearance and brisk days and nights still our companions.

It’s a beautiful thing experiencing the Spring snow while still seeing all of the wildlife celebrating, offspring enjoying their first immersions of life, and trees, plants, and flowers all peeking through.

20160331_193958_resized

I love the contrast and I love how it mirrors our own unique journeys that at times will be both inward and outwardly focused, need introspection mixed with action taken on the guidance received there, and may seem like not much is happening on some levels when a whole lot actually is and is getting ready to leap forward.

Because of these reflections today and the sights I saw on yesterday’s hike on Sheep Creek Trail, which we started in the evening at 5pm and ended at about 7:30pm due to the extension of light at this time of year, I was moved to share the message I wrote for April’s newsletter on this 1st of the month.

20160331_193906_resized

So for those of you who don’t receive my newsletter, here is the message, accompanied by some photos from yesterday that show contrasts of light and dark…Winter and Spring:

We just celebrated a change of seasons this month with the Spring Equinox on the 20th and are now experiencing the Full Moon Eclipse in Libra on this day of the 23rd. And don’t forget the Solar Eclipse in Pisces that took place on the 8th.

A powerful month of revealing revelations indeed that can uncover the seeds of your soul’s true path.

Words that come to me are surrender, equilibrium, integrity, trust, and renewal.

In what areas of your life can you surrender and stop trying to do and control it all? What can you let go of to make room for allowing and receiving?

How can you maintain your equilibrium, and remain balanced? Are you fortifying your source of energy and learning to shield yourself from all externals that knock you off your axis?

This has resulted in cultivating and nurturing those key themes I mentioned at start: surrender, equilibrium, integrity, trust, and renewal.

And setting off on our RV adventure is the literal and symbolic vehicle for moving the energy I chose in action to take to support the needs I had personally of embodying my essence to the fullest possible.

This has come with knowing what I need to do without knowing and seeing any outcome whatsoever.

It’s come with letting go of EVERYTHING that doesn’t mirror the integrity I’ve become ultra sensitively discerning about.

It’s like a complete update and upgrade, which ultimately is a total renewal.

So, not only is it Spring time for the next quarter cycle of the year, but this whole year feels for me to be a year of allowing new blossoms to open from the work done all of these years, while also planting tons of new seeds and working them fully.

I’m trusting and surrendering to “knowing” solely, branching out by following new aspirations, and creating ultra focus and mega boundaries due to exponential sensitivities arising – all in response to life shoving me up to passion in all areas of experience.

We left Sedona on Sunday the 20th (the first day of Spring) and once again she’s proven to be the manifestor and regenerator that I’ve known her to be in my life and for anyone who is ready to embrace her potent energies of potential.

I’m cleaning my spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical house literally and symbolically.

I’m living from a place of saying “yes” to my inner truth.

And I am tending to my inner garden of blossoms, while planting like crazy.

Time to branch out into new areas that aren’t tied to anything but essence ecstasy.

How about you?20160331_194337_resized

Embracing Nature’s Reflections at the Grand Canyon ~ Spring, Deer & Elk Symbolism

20160320_180702_resized.jpgLife unfolds rapidly before our eyes and we sometimes don’t realize how truly far we’ve come in a relatively short span of time.

With the changing of seasons comes a time, if you haven’t already, to review your life and to truly feel gratitude for the beauty that you DO have, regardless of all the aspirations and desires you feel you have yet to attain.20160320_182841_resized

As Spring continues to unfold and blossom, the revving new energies of the year are beginning to truly take form and all that you’ve intended has grand opportunity to come into manifestation.

Not only can we all benefit from a little Spring cleaning on all levels right now, but could also benefit from more full-embodied living and breathing in of those parts of ourselves and our lives that await our embracing and remembrance.20160320_182857_resized

Being in the now and realizing the power of this now moment can be transformative in big ways. Everything can change instantly based on what you decide to do with this moment, your choices, and the actions you put into motion right now.

And as always, there is much we can learn from all the symbolism around us, especially in nature, that reflect the messages we need most in our lives right now as support.20160320_182949_resized

We can call upon our Earth Mother to help in these changing times of our journey, especially when in need of support in moving more easily through the turbulent waters of some tough life-transitions, need a bit of positive encouragement along your journey, and when you are actively wanting to connect more deeply to the spirit world and focus on your intuitive development.20160320_182914_resized

There is much in store as the year unfolds so it’s nice to know you always have a nurturing friend at hand that can assist, as she is there to help you release and renew.

20160320_182932_resizedMany more adventures await you if you learn to embrace the opportunities presented to you and optimize all that is in your present experiences.

You can rest assured that if you support yourself and take the necessary steps, you will be supported in return with many blessings and gifts.

Our Spring Equinox was truly a gift.

20160320_182821_resizedAfter settling in to our new park home we decided to do a short four or so mile trail along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon just to take in the new energies and welcome in a new season of our lives.

20160320_183413_resizedWe ended up off-trail and looping through the forest, which gifted us with coming upon twenty-two elk and then four deer directly after that pranced across our path – a buck and three females. All of the elk were females or younger ones.20160320_182523_resized

Twenty-two seems significant right now, as last night I ended up dreaming about numbers and twenty-two was the number chosen for me in it.

elkAnyway, we sat with a group of seven elk for a while and one female took a liking to Dave, shyly checking him out while nibbling at the tree she was sneaking looks at him through. It was so cute!elk2

Three of the female and younger elk when they saw me just laid down on the forest ground peacefully.20160320_182345_resized20160320_182415_resized

I’m convinced the female curious about Dave would have continued closer had some people not scared her off.

It was really a beautiful experience to be among these beautiful creatures.20160320_183518_resized

And then as we settled back home to relax, coyotes began howling at the moon glowing in the spectacular vibrant display of blue, pink, orange and purple sunset that was like someone went with fluorescent markers across the sky to paint…it was so bright!20160320_185214_resized20160320_185057_resized20160320_185136_resized20160320_185128_resized20160320_185201_resized20160320_185244_resized

The photos don’t capture the color at all.

All being such a beautiful way to celebrate Spring with so much symbolism.

I would have been grateful just arriving here and resting, to integrate everything…so this was all truly a surprise gift.

The deer and elk were lovely Spring reflections.

I’ve written before on deer symbolism, which includes so many lovely energies:

love, grace, gentleness, compassion, innocence, peace, beauty, fertility, femininity, humility, swiftness, acceptance, regrowth, renewal, creativity, spirituality, psychic power, subtlety, higher connection, awareness, abundance, benevolence, watchfulness, and is associated with the moon, the dawn, and the easterly directions.

The stag in particular symbolizes the same, but includes masculinity (which brings balance), regeneration, guidance, healing, connection to the Earth and forest, alertness, pride, independence, purification, strength, and nobility.

20160320_183328_resizedBut elk is a newer encounter for me, and while there are some similarities with deer, they have unique qualities that feel very connective for me/us right now.

They carry the medicine of virility, fertility, nobleness, sensual passion, grace, integrity, stamina, dignity, vision of fulfillment, strength, and empowerment.

Since elk seem to literally vanish, as they walk silently through the forest, they are known as Ghosts of the Forest.

Autumn is considered the powerful time of the elk, as this is when they mate…so virility is on high.

However, it is Spring that brings around the birthing season – both for elk and deer. This is why we saw so many younger elk and a lot of females. The one deer buck was the only symbolism of that virility.

20160320_183343_resizedSo all of this feminine and young energy coincides with things for us that are coming to fruition in Spring from what we’ve started in the Fall. This can be starting to see things manifest, having greater clarity and vision for what you were processing, feeling invigorated to put things in motion in bigger ways, taking new leaps of faith, making changes, and having courage to branch out and go for it.

Like all of nature, elk are spirit messengers that work with the lightning so their messages and insights can sometimes come like a flash to you. So it’s good to pay attention to what you were thinking when they appear or what comes to you then or thereafter, as these can be divinely inspired visions of clarity directly channeling through.

20160320_183718_resizedSince elk don’t come into their prime until much later in life, so this can mean that with steady focus, energy, and action, you too will eventually achieve what you desire, but don’t give up early. The elk don’t stop their growth because it takes longer than other animals to get to adulthood. They simply embrace that this is part of their journey and process. Slower doesn’t mean worse. Faster doesn’t mean better. Keep believing and keep moving forward.

The contradiction of slow growth, later followed by almost instant growth is an interesting medicine for us to receive as well from them. They let us know that when the time is right and things align, growth will happen overnight, just as elk bulls regrow antlers an inch a day. The velvety covering on their antlers is considered symbolic of our power to rebuild our bodies and life force.

This speaks a lot to me, as I’ve always had things come later in life and continue to see that now as well with all I am inspired to keep focused on. And many times things have seemed to come overnight for me, but people haven’t realized the years I’ve put into the behind-the-scenes work to get there.

20160320_183732_resizedElk carry the medicine of gentle power as well. Although they are prey animals, creating vulnerability, they are also respected by predators who see that it is a force to be reckoned with and won’t go down easily without a deadly battle. Predators normally wait and look for weaknesses in the herd and then and only then attack.

So this keeps in mind that we need to be wary of our weaknesses so that we can take care to strengthen ourselves and fortify so we aren’t surprised by things coming at us from behind or seemingly out of nowhere. There is a beauty in gentle power, which again speaks to that balance being key in life.

Elk are connected to Birch trees, having a natural affinity for them. Birch trees to the Celts are trees of new beginnings and sit at the doorway to the spirit realm. So elk herald fresh energy and walking between the realms, bringing us messages from beyond that we can infuse into our lives tangibly.

Elk learn to balance working cooperatively in groups, but understanding their need and the importance of being by themselves now and then and so they go off when feel called to do so. Just as we also need time to recharge and focus on our own things away from others, while then understanding co-creation and sharing is a way to optimize as well.

Elk teach us how to balance and conserve our energy too, as they can get depleted easily and not be able to do their work. So, too, do we need to be mindful of not overdoing things, over-extending ourselves, thinking we are invincible, have to do it all by ourselves, or that it all needs to be done now and keep piling on more. We need to monitor and moderate our expenditure of energy – the easy to see ways we put it out and the not so easy ways of seeing how we are having it sucked from us.

Elk is known for having a deep gentle voice like that of a bard that tells stories and sings songs.

This directly speaks to me, as storytelling is one of the paths both through creative artistry, words, and sound that is guiding my life and how the life force within me is wanting to be channeled.

20160320_183837_resizedI just love how much we can learn about ourselves through nature and how everything is always so on point for us in terms of who we are as souls and where we are on our journeys.

The photos shared here are from our first few hours in our Grand Canyon home. We are only staying here until Wednesday the 23rd, but I imagine over the next two days we’ll continue to receive much richness here.

Today we’re going to do a long bike ride packed with a picnic lunch and I look forward to what surprises we’ll discover along the way.20160320_182618_resized

We will be leaving just as the Full Moon Eclipse in Libra on the 23rd takes place, which is a penumbral eclipse where the Sun, Moon, and Earth are aligned in a straight line. A subtle, but visible eclipse where the Earth will block some of the Sun’s light from the Moon, creating a shadow. Potent stuff!

So with Spring, Full Moon Eclipses, and so many of nature’s messages for us, there is indeed a lot of fertile energy available to us all.

The question is, what will you do with it?

Because you can harness it in any way you choose….or not. 🙂

I hope you enjoy these images of the majesty and beauty that are part of this beautiful Earth we call home.tania

Farewell For Now Sedona ~ Hello Spring

20160319_173409_resizedWe’re off to the Grand Canyon on this beautiful first day of Spring, soon to be settling in our home for the next few days.

Our time in Sedona has been more than I could have hoped for, as we immersed in the fullness of our experiences here – a perfect place to transition from Winter to Spring in literal and symbolic ways.

I’ve never felt more aligned with Nature than I do at this time in my life.20160320_064737_resized

I’m grateful we decided to spend two weeks here to not only take in a ton of Nature and the richness of potent energy, but to also allow enough time to assimilate the energy and have it take root.

20160319_172847_resized I’ve so enjoyed experiencing the first blossoms of Spring throughout the high desert here with pockets of little white, yellow, lilac, purple, orange, and coral flowers sprouting everywhere.20160320_064832_resized

Serenity, harmony, and clarity have been the guiding energies of my time here.

We’ve enjoyed our beautiful and peaceful spot we’ve called home for these two weeks. The ancient springs surrounding our resting ground have been another reclaiming of my ancient voice, not to mention all of the ancient energy we’ve experienced here in totality.

I’ve released things fully and am feeling the joy of new life and freedom with Spring’s dawning.

And to reiterate the messages I have received and am embracing, which I shared in my video “Embracing My Truth,” I pulled this card the next morning after I posted that video, which I’m sharing with its message below.20160319_083938_resized20160319_085241_resized

Yesterday was our last full day and we ended it with a bang doing what could be our favorite hike of our time here in Schnebly Hill.20160320_064710_resized

Everyday we listened to our inner guidance, as to what trails called to us and it ended up that this nine mile beauty, which was pretty epic in all of our opinions (we had friends – a couple – come join us for on our last Friday and Saturday here), came to be our celebratory closure with a big bang!

I thought I’d share all of the trails we did while in Sedona, in case any of you feel called to explore the area at some point, or try other trails you might not have yet. We haven’t even scratched the surface of trails available here, but we loved all the ones we did. You just can’t go wrong here.

So here’s a list, in the order we did them of the trails and areas, and below that, photos from our last farewell day in Sedona.

Our Days’ Inspired Hiking & Biking Trails We Did That Supported The Energy Needed:

  • Courthouse Rock Loop & half of Bell Rock (recommend climbing the round saucer looking rock by Courthouse, as well as Bell Rock if you can)
  • Boynton Canyon
  • Bell Rock & Phone Road – we did this on mountain bikes
  • Airport Loop & Vortex (be sure to climb Airport Rock for the views and energy there)
  • Fay Canyon, Chapel Rock & Airport Vortex for sunset
  • Devil’s Bridge by Dry Creek, Broken Arrow Pink Jeep Tour at Sunset – explored Submarine Rock, a sink hole, and behind the Elephant Buttes, Guardians & Madonna & Child
  • Oak Creek Canyon Vista Point – toward Flagstaff up Oak Creek Canyon
  • Bell Rock Loop full circle
  • West Fork in Oak Creek Canyon
  • Soldier Pass, Brims Mesa & Jordan Trails
  • Long Canyon, Aerie, Dawa Trails – we did this on mountain bikes
  • Ruins above Lo Lo Mai Springs RV Resort
  • Cathedral Rock – be sure to climb
  • Schnebly Hill – Munds, Hangover & Cow Pie Trails ending with Airport Vortex for last sunset20160319_185001_resized20160319_173205_resized20160319_173220_resized

Grateful for our time here and everything received. I will miss Sedona until next time….

Happy Spring Equinox to you all!!

Perhaps you might ponder this, as you welcome in new blossoming potential.

Where in your life can you let go of more to make way for the new?

The more you grasp and hold on, the less you can receive in.

Nothing new can penetrate your experience until you allow the door to fully close on the old.

Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate and love the experiences, nor does it mean you condone those you haven’t. It simply means you allow the energy to naturally flow through you without controlling it and stopping it from its nature.

It means you return to natural harmony, in reflection of that flow.20160319_173449_resized20160320_064502_resized20160319_173513_resized20160319_173532_resized20160319_173621_resized20160320_064806_resized20160320_064553_resized20160320_064615_resized20160320_063935_resized20160319_173132_resized

Life Shows Up When We Show Up In Life

So many synchronous alignments take place right before our eyes, but go unnoticed if we aren’t paying attention….if we aren’t present.

I was doing a quick little Tarot reading for myself outside yesterday and pulled a card from two of my decks.

From one I received “Spring Equinox”.

From the other I received “Into The Woods”.

Tarot cards

Right off the bat, in the images, do you notice anything?

There is a rabbit in both of them.

In the first, she is holding the rabbit. In the second the rabbit is walking along with the Faery, hidden behind her gown.

There also happens to be a butterfly and owl present, which are both symbolism and guides that keep showing up for me as well.

Before I get to the message I received, you might be asking why I posted the first photo of my plants from the mini garden?

Well, look closer to what may seem not obvious and hidden.

Right after I pulled these cards and reflected on their message, I looked up and saw from the same viewpoint as is in that photo and immediately said, wow!

There happens to be a caterpillar cocooning (hanging from the pot in the background – hard to see in photo because the background stuff is out of focus, but look at the little green thing hanging from some gauzy white).

There also happens to be a hidden strawberry blossom in the foreground (under the dark leaf in the front). The only one.

When I pulled back the leaf I saw the beautiful red blossom with strawberry center that is emerging.

How perfect is all of that in combination with the message?

A direct reflection, confirmation, and manifestation.

All mirroring what is going on in my life currently.

All mirroring the reflections, messages, and support that is all around all of us, if we are present enough to “see”.

So what of the messages?

Well, everyone may interpret things in different ways, but what I received from the cards and all of the reflections was that I’ve been and will continue in a cycle of rebirthing right now…I got that this will continue literally through Spring Equinox in March.

I seem to be really following Nature’s cycles more than ever, which is why everything in my life aligns with the Moon phases, seasons, and Sun. And why I’m living more in a variety of Nature settings at this time, which are guiding the way.

So this will continue to be a time of clearing and simplifying, while redefining and recreating myself.

Rabbit, butterfly, and owl have much to share from the wisdom they embody and are helping me with doing the same.

Rabbit being my close familiar who shares my heart’s path. The image in “Spring Equinox” reminds me of me holding Cosmo.

And alongside that, “Into The Woods” shares that this is also a time of new experiences during much transition. (The card reminds me of the “Faery me” photo in Sequoia National Park I posted earlier today)

This is a time of moving between worlds and from one realm to another – great change that will take me farther beyond my usual realm of experience – if you can imagine that. 🙂

Time to take big leaps and go into unknown places that may feel uncomfortable and challenge me further, but all leading to greater strength and fulfillment. It’s a time of vulnerability and greater transparency with great rewards and blossoming of gifts from the courage I embrace.

There is no turning back from this point….only forging ahead, but with great care.

The image reveals a flowering forest lit with magickal star dust that assures me the journey is well worth any awkwardness of transition and is divinely guided and supported.

The card shares:

“And as she walks, something happens to her fears. In their place grow her fallen dreams; her shattered purpose begins to reshape itself. As she faces each guilt, each fear, in their place springs hope and faith, and she understands that her dreams can be recreated. She will walk on, and the world will cease to be fearful, but full of joyous potential.”

The rabbit in the card is her companion, much like in my life, and the rabbits assure me that I am headed in the right direction and are encouraging and supporting me to continue forward into what I’ve felt guided to do.

All of this would make greater sense, if you knew the work I’m being inspired to create…for the rabbits are my guiding force behind everything.

Amazing the alignments that reveal themselves when we really decide to show up in life.

While this may have been my personal message, it definitely could be one for the collective too, since the cycles of Nature and life are shared by us all.

Where do you feel called into greater depths of yourself?

Know that you, too, are supported when you commit to forging ahead, move forward without knowing the how’s, and follow what you know in your heart you must do.

This is a time of transition, but with great rewards if you take the steps and keep courageously believing.

Hare Symbolism for the New Earth – Birthing the Cosmic Egg

In a recent, previous post I touched a bit on my painting, Spirit, the last of five in the series In Lak’ech. Spirit takes us beyond polarities and is full integration with transmutation inwardly and outwardly. As mentioned, this painting has many embedded codes and symbolism for energetic healing integration, which is why this and the other paintings I create can be used as meditational tools. One of the symbols, the Dagaz or Dea Rune is found anchoring the white hare’s feet in this image. Spirit holds some powerful energy and as promised, I wanted to reveal a little about one more aspect to this painting in regard to why the hare/rabbit being (with human and extraterrestrial essence) was chosen intuitively for the representation of this “beyond polarity” energy representation for the fifth element, Spirit.

Joy with Raja Seraphina

Of course those that know me know how deeply connected I am with rabbits. As a vegan and lover of all animals and beings, I have felt connected with animals since birthing into this Earthly experience, but rabbits are just, for whatever and many reasons, extremely dear and close to my heart and I resonate profoundly with them. Not only do I connect and understand them in a very personal way as a reflection, but I absolutely adore their magickal and precious essence in a way I can’t describe.

As I speak, my dear little Joy (lop eared bunny) is exploring my office and came to rest right next to the table that holds my large Quartz Crystal Skull, Raja Seraphina – a profound sign of her supporting what I am writing and connecting with the energy, as Raja Seraphina possesses the integration of both empowered female and male energies. (I’m actually really proud of her because she is on the wood floor, which was a fear she has been learning to overcome all by herself. She has learned to be safe on the floor in my/our sacred space, so I’m sure she will soon be exploring the entire house freely. A great example of how we can overcome fears).

I’ve been honored to have 3 bunny loves in my life, one of which is Nestor, whom I speak of often and has departed this Earthly plane. Part of the reasoning for the white hare in my painting, has to do with very personal healing stories connected with her, as well as simultaneous, collective healing that spoke through her for the essence of the painting.

The other 4 paintings depicted either a male or female being as one of the main focal points of the message, and as mentioned are fully integrated/empowered males and females that have embraced the empowered counterpart within them. However, for Spirit, we move beyond depictions of polarities, even in integrated form, and go straight to the heart of integration – and that is where the white hare comes into play.

Hares, throughout time have been associated with a whole myriad of powerfully profound, transmutational energies, as we will see in these excerpts from druidicdawn.org’s post, Hares and the Spring Equinox:

“Ancient peoples found hares one of the most mysterious and perplexing animals around. Hares were thought to be hermaphrodites, male one month and female the next month.” …”The ancient Greeks asserted this was so too, and associated hares thus with powers of self-impregnation and something we now call superfoetation. Superfoetation is “the fertilization of an already pregnant female which causes the simultaneous development of eggs of two different ovarian cycles within the genital tract.” …

“The ancient Mediterranean peoples also all believed that the male hare could also become pregnant.”

…”Going back to the idea of balance between the masculine and feminine at the Equinox, we mustn’t forget that many religions and myths, especially those derived from mystics and shamans, believe that the true nature of ourselves and the divine is found in the union of opposites. And from this union of the Masculine and Feminine, all Creation breaks forth into life and consciousness. It then makes sense that anything in nature that brings together the masculine and feminine, be it sexual intercourse, self-replicating plants, or in this case, hares who interchanged between male and female, were all held as some of the highest most sacred subjects in our world .. because they embody the actual creative powers of the universe.

For many of the reasons stated above, the hare has long been thought of as a mediator of the sacred…

Not only does the hare have lunar connections, but also many Buddhist and Hindu texts describe the hare as a creature of fire, but not just any fire–the same consuming sacrificial fire of the phoenix, then to rise again out of the ashes. The hare in this sense is not just a symbol of cyclical life like the moon and in many tales blatantly depicted as a bringer of reincarnation to mankind, but also in the same way, it becomes a symbol of simultaneous destruction and recreation that is at the very heart of all Life. Life is not just about being creative, but also requires the balance of first being destructive…

For all these reasons, the Hare then is not only associated with the Moon and the Sacred Fire and Spring, but also with the dawn and more importantly, with enlightenment…

Traditionally, the Easter Bunny, actually a Hare, was said to lay eggs at Easter. This concept is of course very strange to our factual minds, but taken symbolically, the Egg is not only Potential, but it also represents the Cosmos, the very ground of Being from which we spring–no pun intended! One only need think about the Cosmic Egg and the Druid’s Egg to begin to get the full scope of this meaning. No wonder then that the Hare was at one time considered both male and female. To produce the cosmos, both must be present.

This union of masculine and feminine makes the Hare an excellent symbol for marriage…

Other associations with the hare that I won’t go into now are witchcraft, or in ancient societies, with the seer or shaman–the hare is also the trickster figure in many stories, who outsmarts Winter and Death…

Overall then, the Hare is a symbol of many things, all involving balance, Life, creative potency, regeneration, fertility, and eternity. This symbolism manifests in associations with Springtime, the Dawn, the Moon and Sacred Fire, the Egg, the Circle and Infinity symbol, Marriage, Androgyny and Hermaphroditism, as well as Madness, Genius and Inspiration (which seem to go hand in hand).”

We still have another month or so to go before the Spring Equinox, but as “time” is speeding up and I’m always several “bunny leaps” ahead, I continue to post things before we get there, to support the space in the now for that energy integration to begin.

After reflecting upon the information, I think you start to get some of the picture for why the hare was the channeled message I received to depict in my painting, Spirit. The rest, we will have to save for another story. For now, I leave you with “Spirit” to receive its message.
