A Message from Hawk

dscf9304

For anyone who also has hawk as a prominent animal spirit guide, I’m resharing this photo of the incredible hawk who came to perch on a tree next to the Magick Bus in the International Peace Garden so she may impart her medicine most penetratingly as you gaze in her eyes. I’ve shared in greater detail their symbolism before, but today is a short message of navigating and staying on path with deep presence and awareness, being open to and taking in wider perspectives, trusting your insights as they speak your truth, taking decisive actions with strength of vision and initiative behind them after surveying all creative possibilities, and knowing you have the ability to move through anything with grace and are being watched over by divine guardianship. You have the courage available to do anything. It’s both the time to bring forth your gifts and things you’ve procrastinated, but also a time to not act impulsively and await those air stream propulsions by assimilating everything to create alchemical alignment.

  2. I’ve been seeing many of them for weeks now, all but one a red-tails perched on highway light-poles or circling in the sky. I think the other one was a Cooper’s Hawk. Earlier in the summer, very early in the morning, I was outside picking up trash in the street and heard a disturbance of crows screaming angrily. They appeared through the trees pursuing a Cooper’s Hawk, probably to drive it away from their young. They lost sight of the hawk and spent a lot of time circling and shrieking before giving up and flying off. Eventually the hawk felt safe enough to fly to another tree where it vanished. 🙂

    • very cool! that’s been my experience now for the last few years…it was like bam! once they came in they continue in such prolific ways. i see so many circling, flying, perched, and yes on highway light poles in strategically positioned places and times based on what i’m thinking and what’s going on in my life. thank you for sharing your experiences…i’ve seen that scenario quite a bit too, with hawks and eagles, where smaller birds bravely take them on to drive them away. interesting to watch and has its own symbolism to see how they both interact.

      • Cooper’s Hawk appeared again this afternoon, this time perched in the top of the huge oak tree across the alley from my house, eating a pigeon it caught (I’m guessing pigeon, to judge by the small feathers floating down from the sky the way pieces of pale ash from a bonfire drift back to earth). This raptor is enormous! Probably only the Bald Eagle is bigger, and at first I mistook it for the eagle until I noticed the long tail. 🙂

      • wow very cool!! and so timely after this post and your other share. definitely something afoot!
